“Sake Bomb is a great little Asian Restaurant/Sushi Bar in Erlanger. We've been here a few times but it had been quite a while. They have quite a lot Asian dishes but on this occasion we focused exclusively on the Sushi. Among the one's we had were the Sunday Morning (my personal favourite), fire scallop, and the firecracker among others. They are all visually appealing and absolutely delicious. The chef really took a lot of care crafting flavours into every bite. I really can't recommend their Sushi highly enough. Also I know I mentioned this in earlier reviews but the restaurant looks so magnificent and really authentic to Japanese culture. The seating is very close quarters so I must mention that as it might be off-putting to some. All in all the Sushi was excellent, the service was good, and the place looked awesome. Fantastic experience.“

“This visit was a reminder of why it has been several months since I have been here. The bar in the back seems to have the worst service. I asked for a coke and got a glass 3/4 full of ice. I didn’t think it was a big deal since it was very slow so bartender wouldn’t be so busy when I needed a refill. Once food came out, the bartender disappeared. I waited patiently for a good 5-7 minutes thinking maybe they were busy. Once 10 minutes rolled around and hadn’t seen anyone behind the bar, I took my ice filled glass to the front bar for a refill. Once I went around the corner I saw the bartender and several other workers gathered on other side by entrance all talking among themselves. The bartender up front gave me a refill and I went back to my seat in the back. Shortly after that I noticed a worker who was sitting at a table behind us get up and talk with our bartender who was obviously now being very “short” with us. I asked for our check and will take business somewhere else. I wouldn’t have a problem with any of this if I wasn’t expected by these people for me to leave gratuity.“

“The food was great. Our server was just okay. He was not attentive. Our drinks ran empty with no refills. When you're paying $3+ for a soda, you would expect a refill at some point. Otherwise it was great. Our food was exactly as ordered, all sauces reauested were delivered as well. Auto-gratuity of 18% for 5+, even when when between the 5 of us, it was 2 checks, was a bit odd. Keep that in mind if dining here in a group. Parking is a nightmare, but it's the Kenwood mall so what would you expect. The chicken fried rice was delicious. I added teriyaki sauce to it. My boyfriend got the teriyaki chicken and didn't know it had mushrooms. He picked out a ton of mushrooms. The Sunday morning roll was great as well as the rangoons (you get 5 of them)“

“Highland heights local here. This place is great. It’s a big step above take out Chinese/Japanese from most places because they use quality ingredients. Basically the same price too. Orange chicken is great. Staff has always been very nice.“

“We were looking for recommendations for lunch after we went to the zoo. We had delivery from this place probably 5 years ago and it was so good. I talked to my friends about revisiting today and boy I'm so glad we did! Not only did we have super size portions, The food was fantastic! I recommend anyone taking a trip to the zoo to check out Ninja grill afterwards for lunch!“

Out of towners note: this is a college sushi place. Basically right across the street from University of Cincinnati. What that means to you is the following:

1. Ridiculously inexpensive sushi
2. Really busy
3. Non-sushi items are pretty reasonable but not cheap
4. Appetizers and desserts are regular price
5. They have a format - screw with the format at your own risk

What's the format? Each diner gets an order sheet. Each order sheet results in a plate hitting your table. Combine orders and you'll still see a plate hit your table - one plate. Order all willy-nilly by telling your server what you want when he/she happens by and you'll see everything arrive on it's own plate and in no particular order. Don't fight it - just go with the flow.

As much as I enjoy sushi, the best bite of the night goes to Kid2's Galbi entree. Really tender, juicy beef short rib slices that must have been marinated for a really, really long time as they were so infused with flavor it was mind-blowing. Add in the gorgeous caramelization that took place when they were cooked over high heat and every bite was a masterpiece.“

Stopped by for a quick dinner and found Thai Namtip while searching for something tasty and spicy. What a great find! The Tom Kha Goong soup was incredible — I ordered spice level 7/10, and it was just right. The Thai spicy fish with vegetables was packed with flavor, and the Massaman curry was excellent. We even got to sample a Thai vegetable pancake, which was surprisingly delicious.

Service was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the small dining area had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a place I’ll return to again!“

“Once I walked in thr restaurant it already felt very authentic. The aroma of food smelt wonderful, I was practically drooling over the smell. The atmosphere felt very peaceful, it was loud, but quite, it was just the right amount a noise. The service was wonderful! Once a stepped in the restaurants I was immediately sat down at a table! They also had tons of seating areas! The staff were also kind to my little one! 😊 The miso soup tasted like a burst of rainbows exploding in my mouth. Most of their food choices were big enough for a whole family to share. 😊 Their sushi tasted phenomenal 😍! I loved how they had so many choices for almost everything. My son loved the egg drop soup! (He's a big fan of that soup!) I was really surprised that they had salads here! The Wild Ginger Fried Rice was so tasty, honestly when I read the description it just sounded okay, but when I had it, it just tasted so good there's no way to describe the amount of flavor I tasted.
