We had a party of 6, we were there for over 2 hours. We all sat for 30 minutes waiting on our server to come check on us for refills, or to even be able to ask how come it was taking so long to get our food. Finally a manager came to check on our table and informed us that they were short staffed in the kitchen only having 2 cooks. We finally got our food and everyone's was pretty good and were happy with what they ordered. When it came time to bring our check it took the server what seemed liked forever to get them even coming back to our table once to ask a couple of us what went on our check because she lost the paper she had wrote our orders down on. When we finally got our check she had to redo most of them because they were still wrong. She said she had worked there for 3 years but it seemed like it was her 1st day on the job because she struggled the whole time. Through the whole time we were there though she wasn't rude or hateful and we weren't to her either. Also to add the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time we got there.

2/22/2025 Not sure what happened but service went downhill today! Fajita roll up was pretty skimpy and thrown in front of me while there was no communication with waiter. Seemed like plenty of people working but very slow and unorganized!! 7-8 dirty tables. So much for “New Management”.
Wanted to try the new chicken sandwich and was a little worried about being the first customer at opening. Was pleasantly surprised! Everything was hot a perfect! I will never go across the highway for a chicken sandwich again. Misti was a great waitress.

ATTENTION: Mike Muldoon My name is Ashley, and I'm a Doordash Driver. I love my job and have a platinum status with Doordash. I will often go above and beyond for my customers. Which is why I'm sending this to whoever it concerns to clarify, How the Danville, Applebee's Is supposed to handle their last order? 2 out of the last three times I have shown up,They had already thrown away the order. Stating They close at twelve and they lock the door at twelve and the order will be thrown away at twelve. Now, as a Dasher this is unacceptable, we can get orders that are very far away and not arrive until after the establishment is closed. However, That does not stop the establishment from giving the doordash driver the order so the driver can deliver it to the customer. I'm curious to know if applebee's managers are trained to throw away any orders exactly at midnight, even if the dasher is on their way, or if this is just something that the danville, applebee's does. I do not believe that it is okay to throw away the food. When they close at midnight, given the likelihood, the Dasher will be there within minutes, such as I was on December 18th, when I went ahead and called DoorDash support before I arrived at Applebee's, knowing that I would have trouble With them. If throwing the orders away at midnight when Applebee's closes is something that they are trained to do I would like to know very much so I do not accept any more Applebee's orders at night time before they close. Thank you for your understanding and you time.

Food is not worth the price. The restaurant itself isn't the cleanest. I was hoping after new management that it would improve. The restaurant was empty when I was there and instead of staff trying to clean things up they were sitting around talking to each other near the bar area. Food smeared on the walls and windows wouldn't take long to wipe down and get it cleaned up.

I’m never one to come on here and write a review but I’ve never had such a horrible experience out to eat ….I got two appetizers, French onion, soup and wings. I have been looking really forward to it. It took 20 minutes to even get sat and there was nobody in there. My waitress was sitting at the bar talking the entire time I had to ask her for a refill on my drink six different times by time I got my food. It was severely cold because she was talking the entire time at the bar, I had a coupon on my phone and she wouldn’t even give it to me because she didn’t wanna go back there and redeem it because the manager had to do it. “I would have to get a manager if you wanted to use this “ I had been asked for a manager and I waited for 15 minutes and he never came out so I called and I asked if I could have a refund because my food was awful and I never got refills , he then said “well you should have asked for me it’s kind of to late now” which i understand but I tried and my server couldn’t even do that much. I spent over 50$ for poor food and poor service and I couldn’t even get a free appetizer for the inconvenience. Honestly should let cooperate handle this one 🤷🏻♀️

I ordered takeout and checked in to my car pick up spot waited 20 minutes and no one came out so I finally went in to get my food. It was on the counter at the bar. Cold. If you are going to have car pick up, you should bring the food out and it should be hot.

Our food was delivered hot and it was good. The restaurant was not busy on a Wednesday night and the service was excellent. Our waiter, Kendall, was absolutely wonderful! He recommended that we try the $! Zombie drinks and recommend a couple of appetizers. He was funny and polite.

Awesome food and awesome staff. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend it to anyone. The bartender was our favorite. She made excellent drinks. ???????
