“Boogie Knights isn’t just a bar—it’s the place in Danville.

My wife and I keep coming back because there’s nothing else within at least a couple hours that compares. Justin is one of the most talented bartenders and mixologists I’ve ever come across. His quarterly rotating cocktail menu is on another level—he takes classic cocktails, breaks them down, and rebuilds them into something completely original. Every drink feels intentional, creative, and dialed in.

And it’s not just cocktails. The beer and wine selection is excellent across the board.

Then there’s the food. Lee is behind it all, and the weekly specials are something we genuinely look forward to. This isn’t typical pub food—this is what pub food should be when it’s reimagined and refined by people who truly care about what they’re creating. Every dish feels thoughtful, unique, and worth showing up for.

The atmosphere seals it. Boogie Knights somehow balances laid-back, welcoming vibes with a quirky, irreverent personality. The velvet paintings alone are worth the visit—equal parts hilarious and oddly perfect—and there’s always something good playing on the projector.

Places like this don’t come around often. Justin, Lee, and their team have built something special, and Danville is better for it. If you live here, you should be a regular. If you’re passing through, make the stop.”

“We are from out of town and decided to eat here. I am Italian and have been to Italy so I feel pretty qualified in what I am about to say……..some of the BEST Italian food I have ever had! The bread and oil….delish!! The Bruschetta…..amazing!! The Chicken Cacciatore…..SUPERB!! That is a hard dish to do well too. Those complaining about no spaghetti and meatballs or lasagna, shows me they just don’t appreciate real Italian food. Staff were very nice and props to the owners and chef! 🇮🇹 The only thing that made me scratch my head was the name of the restaurant. 🤣 10/10!!!”

“If you want authentic and excellent Mexican food, go to Las margaritas. If you happen to have a disability, such as deafness or anything, go to Las Margaritas instead of Los Roderos. You will be served without being mocked, insulted, or otherwise mistreated. Las Margaritas has wonderful people, tip them well because they certainly deserve it. “Salt Risen Bread & Donuts! Just walking in the door was wonderful. The aromas of freshly made bread, doughnuts, pastries & pies lifted my mood. I came for the salt risen bread as it is hard to find. The folks there were friendly & knowledgeable. They even suggested Melton’s Deli for a good lunch spot. I look forward to stopping in again soon.”

“The wife and I stopped here after a local distillery tour. Wanting something on the light side, we choose Murrini Cafe. She got the club and I, the chicken salad. What a treat! Service was fantastic, we were both full, but managed to also have a slice of lemon blueberry cake and a chocolate chip cookie. Phenomenal. Highly recommend.”

“One of the best places to dine in if you're in Danville, KY! My family and I have been a couple of times now and each times the serves and meals were amazing. My children especially enjoyed watching the chef make their food and entertain them. The serves that I had were all super friendly and attentive. If possible, I would call to make reservations, but they do accept walk in as well.”

“Normally, Chik-fil-a is great however I think my #1 sandwich was undercooked I didn't finish it. Had used the drive thru, and was not close enough to return or I would have. Amazingly the store gave me points the next day for a complete meal, so maybe others complained. I at least got my steps in going to the bathroom the following few days.”

“The location comes up as just Danville smoothies, but the name is actually The Spot Nutrition. If you are looking at Aldi, they are in the brown shopping center to the right.The menu consists of energy drinks (like juice and tea with boba) and smoothies. The cup size was fantastic (16oz) for about 5$.The flavors of the juice I had were fantastic. I got an April special with banana, coconut, pineapple, and Boba. They blended well together while still holding their own flavor.The staff is kind and it is a nice local family run location.The inside is small and quaint with one table for 2. It's decorated nicely and kept clean. Lots of people take photos in front of their grass wall.

Kid-friendliness: They have a separate kids menu that has more typical kid varieties, and I think smaller portions.

Parking: The parking area is small and located in a small shopping center. It's also easy to pass on the road. You need to look for a brown building with multiple small businesses.”
