Decided to give it another try after an extremely disappointing experience. Should of known better. Ordered a burger & onion rings togo. Appetizer while waiting. Onion rings were very good. The burger was overcooked & dry. My dog would not eat it. Server never asked how my appetizer was. Had to ask for napkins & silverware. Will not go back

The food wasn’t the best but not bad. The service was bad, the worst waitress ever. We only sat about 5 minutes before she came to get our drink order and appetizer. The appetizer came out before the food. When we were almost finished she came over and said I’ll go grab your drinks. She finally came back. Waited on everything even a box. Just bad service period!

I decided to go to Cheddar's while passing through Danville after driving back from Louisville to return to Somerset. I went a to Cheddar's in Newport News, Virginia, and I loved the Chicken Alfredo. So, I decided to order that, and the food was overall delicious in taste. However, the noodles were cooked a bit too long, and made them soggy. Weirdly, the chicken was also too hard?
The service here was lovely! The waitress I had was very courteous and resourceful. She asked if I wanted to refill my Water 3 times, which I thought was polite and generous of her.
The atmosphere was pretty interesting. I expected it since I went to it before. But, it reminded me of a sports bar of some sort. I know this isn't this restaurants fault, so I'm not going to make a big deal.:)
Overall, this restaurant was definitely worth my afternoon, and it was delicious! I hope whoever is reading this has an AMAZING DAY!

My wife and I received a gift card to this establishment and were excited to eat some good food (maybe our expectations were a little higher than they should have been). Our host sat us down in the bar side of the restaurant which was fine there were not many patrons there, and our host was awesome, however we had two different servers; one that brought us our food, and another who barely paid any attention to us, she brought my wife one water refill. Servers were also congregating around a high top table near our booth and were cutting up and being loud. As for our food we ordered 14 oz ribeye with broccoli and a loaded baked potato, and a 6oz sirloin with half rack of ribs with two loaded baked potatoes. I ordered the ribeye cooked med-rare and the sirloin medium. The ribeye came back close to med-rare but the sirloin came back almost rare, and very over seasoned. We would have sent it back but our server was no where to be found. My wife loves loaded baked potatoes and was severely disappointed with both of hers, there was a small dollop of sour cream and only five pieces of cheese. With a name like “cheddars” you might expect there to be a few more pieces of cheddar cheese on your baked potatoes. Our night out was not as enjoyable as it could have been, if the food and our service was up to par and quality, we might’ve considered coming back. The only saving grace was our first host, he did an awesome job at setting the tone for the rest of the evening had we had an equivalent experience with our servers and food.

The ribs were good. Not super tender but tasted good. The honey mustard for the chicken tenders is mostly mustard but goes with the chicken. Cheese fries we got were kind of cold when they came out of the kitchen.

So 3 of us walk in. Nobody in front of us. No wait. There are 5 employees at the hostess stand talking, ignoring us. I realize that they are arguing about seating, IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS! So I say, are we to seat ourselves? A husky black kid server said ya. So I walked to a table. As I'm walking, I hear one of the arguing girls saying, sir, sir, sir. We sat down and I decided I would give them 5 minutes to bring menus before asking for the manager. Actually one of the girls that had walked away from them arguing brought us menus, but obviously with an attitude. Then I said we'll give them 10 minutes to take our drink order. A nice waitress came and from then on, all was good. Food was great. Really there must be a manager on duty last night around 6 that has no guts, or fears the employees, or this never would have happened.
There should be some fired for that, but I know there's no real management there, or it wouldn't have happened in the first place.
Btw, I've eaten here many many times. Never seen such rude employees.
