Copper and Oak did not disappoint tonight! We had the fried chicken, shrimp & grits, and the fried green tomato caprese. Food came out swiftly and HOT, which is a rarity lately when we’ve gone out for a meal. Highly recommend. We drove from Lexington and it was worth every mile!

Michael is a phenomenal server who will guide your heart and your stomach to delicious delicacies with surgical precision. The man is a culinary menu master and can describe everything so artfully, he'll make you spend money but happily so. No regrets, love copper and oak. AUGUST IS A WONDEFUL HOSTESS TOO, she was super helpful with getting us a nice table to our preference and made sure we felt at home. This place has a wonderful vibe, the people will make you feel like family, the food will make you feel like a king, the service will make you feel loved. God bless Copper and Oak.

Along with an old friend had a wonderful dinner (filet mignon, potatoes, and roasted Brussels sprouts, and glass of Decoy red wine) at Copper & Oak, served by an excellent waiter “Michael.” Michael was menu knowledgeable and friendly, and suggested Cajun butter for my steak as well as the yummy Brussels sprouts. My friend and I also shared their bourbon brownie dessert, recommended by Michael too. It was just a bit loud inside, but was a very tasty meal. And Michael was kind and patient, as my friend and I dined and caught up with one another for a lengthy 3-hr multi course meal. I definitely recommend Copper & Oak in our hometown of Danville KY, and recommend Michael as a waiter. I would dine there again, certainly.

Copper and Oak is a welcome fine dining addition to a town that's not drowning in fine dining choices. Great food, solid and straightforward cocktail list, excellent bourbon list, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Had the shrimp and grits and a Ward 8. Both excellent. Menu is mostly very rich: maybe go for one of the salads or the crab cakes if you aren't a big eater. Staff are happy to point you to places and make suggestions if you're bourbon trailing. Excellent choice, and well worth the drive downtown if you're coming in off 127.
