Carter our server/bartender was amazing and very informative. He guided our choices with knowledge. He made very terrific cocktails as well.
The food was beyond delicious and way over met our expectations. Farm to table, fresh, perfectly cooked (the chefs here are top tier).
Prices are very fair for portions, quality, and choices
Carter gave us the history of Copper and Oak, as well as the Italian restaurant next door which we will be back to visit. We highly recommend Copper and Oak for anyone.

A big shout out to Michael, you were wonderful! He entertained us at each interaction and answered all our questions for modifications to some of the meals. His passion shown through and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Dry Aged Burger with loaded mash potatoes. Others in our group had the salmon. Everyone’s plate was empty by the end. What a fun place. Will be back.

I absolutely love this place. From the Decore to the whole atmosphere. The food was magnificent. Everything was so fresh. The waitress was the sweetest she could be. I will definitely go back .

Edit: My partner and I went here for brunch for our anniversary. The staff did an amazing job setting up the table, with a handwritten, placard and flowers that I had ordered beforehand. I had the hot honey chicken and sugar pearl waffles and he had the crab cakes Benedict. The pearl waffles are absolutely amazing and they will allow you to order them as a side dish as well. I cannot recommend this place enough for both their service and their food for brunch, lunch or dinner!

My go to restaurant in Danville! Great food, good drinks, beautiful atmosphere and exceptional service. The limited menu means everything is given careful attention during preparation.
I especially love the outdoor seating.
Make sure to make your reservations before 5 or you'll have a longer wait. This place fills up fast.

Every time I visit Danville this is my go to restaurant of choice! Their food is always delicious! However, the broccoli was a little salty, for my taste. The staff were very friendly and polite, however our server wasn’t the most attentive, but she was super sweet.

On Copper & Oak’s own Facebook page, they are labeled as a burger restaurant. On their website the “Lunch & Dinner Menu” has several burgers listed. Yet when we got there after 4 pm, there was only 1 burger on the menu. We asked our waitress and apparently we had the dinner menu, and the lunch menu is different. There are no separate menus online and we came specifically to try those burgers. Then we went to pay with a gift card. We’ve had it for a while but never got the chance to use it. It should have been for $100 yet the waitress told us it only had $28 and some change on it. I’m not sure if the gift card company charges a monthly service fee or something after so long but there is no mention of this online or on the back of the gift card. Overall a disappointing experience.

We feel like we received the VIP treatment celebrating our anniversary at Cooper and Oak, as just two regular people. Stewart the manager welcomed us with unbeatable hospitality, Michael our waiter took great care of us for the entire dining experience, and we were fortunate enough to enjoy live music by Carey Band on the front patio. The artists in the band were so talented and kind, they even sat and chatted with us during intermission- we were front row so we where humbled to get more of their time and lovely energy!! The food, by the way- delicious and high quality. We got the calamari, Caesar salad and surf & turf. We subbed asparagus for Brusells sprouts upon Michaels recommendation- so thankful for that because the Brussels sprouts were the star of the show!!! And not to mention that the filet (medium) was the most tender and delicious cut I’ve had in a while, and perfectly paired with Cajun shrimp and mashed potatoes. If we could each give the chef a kiss on the cheek, we’d do it twice!! We will back very soon just to enjoy a nice night out at Copper and Oak. Thank you for an unforgettable anniversary dinner ❤️
