I have to say I have been to a Drakes before but the service me and my fiancé received today at opening was absolutely outstanding!!!!! Our server Annie went above and beyond for us during our lunch and we were her first table of the day!! Annie gave us the best service we have had in a long time we would come back just for her even though the food was delicious!!!

I am a veteran and Jo went above and beyond to make sure I and my party of 9 was taken care of without any troubles. Jo is awesome and so is Drakes! Only place in town to go and enjoy a good drink by Michael and great food by the chefs. Honestly, I’m humbled by Jo’s attention to us and her passion for the military. Love this place and will definitely be back when I come back to town. Stay strong!

Kenzie and Logan made us feel like we were not just eating a late lunch. We made some friends too. We had the two best seats in the house

Great place with a great variety. Service was great and food and drinks were excellent. I was in a sleeper truck with no trailer and after asking for permission they were kind enough to let me park overnight in the lot. I don’t get down here that often but I’ll definitely remember to stop in!

I ate there last night and the food was amazing! I had a sweet girl named Hayleigh and she was the absolute best! She made sure I had everything I needed for my meal. Will be returning and requesting her every time. Thanks for the amazing meal!

Had a BLT sandwich with an egg cooked to order. Delicious! We had a member of our party with a gluten allergy, and they were able to accommodate with a dedicated service and individual handling of the food so as not to cross contaminate. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

Dietary restrictions: Have dedicated surface for gluten free diets.

Parking: On site.

Food was all right. Nothing special. Service was slow, and they weren't busy at all.

Absolutely fantastic food. Server could have been a little more attentive, but was absolutely wonderful otherwise. We came in at 11pm on a Friday night and didn't have to wait long for our food. We'll definitely be back!

When is KY going to learn.. chain restaurants are not the answer.

Anyway here we go.
It was mid afternoon on a Wednesday.

Our server was Laramie. She was spot on. Always there. Friendly and fast.

We ordered pretzels and quesadilla appetizers. Pretzels were soft and tasty.
The quesadilla was fairly large I was stunned by the size. It was very good. The sour cream was fresh and not the usual cup of white water served at chain restaurants.
Main courses were a salad and BBQ burger. The burger was good decent size as well. I was kind of short sheeted on the fries though.
The salad was just ok as per the wife. Look like a giant bowl of slaw to me. I had sweet tea to drink I thought it was good. But sweet tea is a person to person thing.

The seats were very uncomfortable. Veterans will be used to them cause they must have been taken from all the 2 1/2 ton trucks when they were phased out. My 58 y/o butt was not happy.

Finally the BILL! 86$! Where am I.. Trenton New Jersey?

Overall a decent experience for a chain restaurant.

Hopefully when the college kids are in town they bring their billfolds. And anyone else who dines there...make sure your visa card has room.
