A very beautiful little store that smells amazing when you walk in! Their tea is delicious and there's a variety of cups, kettles, teapots and sets for sale, all nicely displayed. Friendly staff as well!

Lovely tea store, a wall of tea, a wall of tea accessories, and a tea tasting bar at the far end of the store. Ben patiently helped create a mixture of a particular tea I wanted. We tasted many samples. Happy with the outcome!Impressive selection and knowledgeable staff. Spacious parking lot, convenient. It was a fun experience.Tea lovers should check it out! The sample canisters have lids that open to inhale the aroma of leaves. Plan to order more in the future!

I've been buying from Elmwood Inn since back when they had a tea room (which I miss a great deal!) Everything is wonderful: the teas, the foods, the equipment. This is a family-owned shop, and the folks are wonderful to deal with. Terrific customer service, great shipping, even their choices of containers for the tea are outstanding. I can't recommend them enough. For black tea, try Bruce's blend called Mayor's Cup. For white tea, try their Bai Mudan.

Friendly shop & absolutely AMAZING teas. We've tried approx 15 varieties of Elmwood teas and we'll never buy "big brand" teas again! If you can't stop by their shop in Danville KY (well worth the drive - the staff is amazing & you can often talk with the owner/master tea blender as well), look them up online and order some of their tea to try! Christmas in a Cup, Bourbon Black, Earl Grey Creme, and Paris Afternoon are some of my favorites!

Great family owned business that knows their tea! Highly recommend either shopping in store or online for any of your tea needs. Their Kentucky blend black tea and blueberry herbal tea are best sellers for a reason!!

We have been a customer of Elmwood for several years both in a retail and wholesale capacity. They exceed our expectations every time we order! The quality of the teas is only superseded by their customer service and willingness to help educate us on our new passion!

Rating for tea not the store (which I can't wait to visit). I'm an aspiring tea snob who just relocated from California. Not as many options here to just order non-Lipton tea out in the world. So, I bookmarked Elmwood as a must-visit. To my surprise, I ran into a selection of their teas (including loose leaf!!) at Liquor Barn. Purchased the Darjeeling Autumnal and am in love. Makes the perfect cup of black breakfast tea and is now my tea staple at work. Looking forward to trying more of their teas and am thrilled to be able to support a local tea maker in Kentucky. (And yes I bought tea at Liquor Barn along with a bottle of Malbec and a lovely red from Portugal, if you must know.)

Sampled their Bourbon Black tea at a local B&B in December and loved it! Have purchased online for myself and family. Customer service was great when a little address mix up occurred and items were shipped out right away still in time for Christmas. Just placed another order for my sister who is just as addicted as I to the Bourbon Black!! Hopefully I'll get to visit the store next time I'm in KY.

I was told about Elmwood by an undergraduate student I spoke with at the Hub Coffee shop. When I called Elmwood, I was invited to share a cup of delicious monkey tea with Mr Richardson. He explained the blends of many of the teas, including Paris Afternoon, which was described as Earl Grey with and extra bit of Bergamot for the Earl Grey lovers. I think this location has almost everything a tea lover could ask for, including advice from Mr. Richardson, who is a master Blender, professor, historian, and much more. I believe he even wrote the manuals for at least a few of the widely known tea companies of the world. So if you're ever in Danville, the ❤️ of Kentucky, and you enjoy properly made teas, this is one spot you may want to consider.
