Murrini Cafe Reviews
Stopped in today for my birthday lunch, it was our first time going. We sat down ,didn’t know if we were supposed to have a server or what we were supposed to do. A girl at the counter was just staring at us, and had the menus right in front of her. She didn’t say a single word to us. I had to ask what we needed to do. She was smug. Not a good or friendly environment .Don’t recommend. We got up and left.
The wife and I stopped here after a local distillery tour. Wanting something on the light side, we choose Murrini Cafe. She got the club and I, the chicken salad. What a treat! Service was fantastic, we were both full, but managed to also have a slice of lemon blueberry cake and a chocolate chip cookie. Phenomenal. Highly recommend.
We had the best lunch! Everyone said they loved their sandwiches and flatbreads. We split an order of the toast to try and it was so good, could be a meal. Loved it and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Murrini Cafe is a local lunch and early dinner spot, known for its unique flavors and cozy atmosphere. Located as part of the Arts Center of the Bluegrass, it is connected to the Fern gift shop through an interior door. This bright and open space offers a variety of seating options suitable for different group sizes, making it an ideal place for meeting and chatting. The menu features a selection of small plates and a few entrees, with dishes like the chicken salad, turkey club sandwich, and grilled cheese all highly praised. Customers can also enjoy comforting offerings like the pimento cheese crostini, Chickpea Chili soup, and a charcuterie board filled with cheeses, meats, crackers, and more.
Murrini Cafe has a delightful atmosphere, complemented by cute decor and a lovely art collection. Guests can savor homemade pickles, lemon blueberry cake, and chocolate chip cookies as well. While the service is commendable, it is noted that orders are placed at the counter, and there may be young staff members providing assistance. Overall, Murrini Cafe is a great spot for brunch, lunch, or dessert with friends, and is also kid-friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience for all ages.
