I had made arrangements to call and meet up to get a Groupon purchase of a dozen cupcakes. I called twice, left voicemails, and never received word back. Very disappointing.

When I needed a local bakery to help me get some special treats delivered to my sister, Kathy with Queens of Sweets & Treats really came through for me. She hand delivered them with a sweet smile, and my sister said everything was delicious!

For Christmas this year I'd wanted to have some jam cake like my mom made about 50 yrs ago. I saw an ad for this bakery on facebook, and by the pics and description I had high hopes for it being very similar. My order for cakes and other items was more expensive than expected, but I should have asked the pricing first. Anyway, the loaf shaped jam cakes were still in the aluminum pans and not covered with the icing and pecans as shown. A peach pie that I bought, literally looked like it was a frozen pie from Aldis and baked!! I'd ordered 2 different cookies, which tasted like they had cut back on ingredients. e.g., one of the cookies were to be pecan crescents, which are traditionally loaded with butter and very short. I feel sure they cut the butter with shortening!! To add to my disgust, I wrote a note about how I felt they had shorted the batter in the jam cakes and was generally not happy with the products. I received no response at all. So if you don't care about the taste and have loads of money to waste, shop the Queens...otherwise...RUN!
