The Still Restaurant & Cocktail Bar

We arrived at 6pm. As we entered we realized how extremely quick it was in there the music was hardly on. Our sever seemed nice but didn't seem very experienced. He forgot basic items such as a steak knife for a steak. He also forgot the dessert that came with the special for the day. After waiting we asked for the dessert to go. He said sure thing, then came back to tell us he couldn't pack that specific dessert to go. Understanding, we asked for a different dessert. Once we were ready to leave, he came to the table and told us that he mixed up our cards but everyone ticket was charged correctly. After reviewing our card numbers and the receipts they were indeed all mixed up. He had to go back and refund 3 tickets and re-charge our cards correctly. All while our Togo dessert with ice cream is sitting. We finally got everything sorted and left. The waiter apologized, but at that point a manager should have come to the table and spoke with us. For the price point of this restaurant, this was unacceptable and we will NOT be returning.

As always, The Still delivers on quality food and service, nice specials, great cocktails and atmosphere that allows conversation without feeling stuffy. One of our favorite restaurants anywhere!

First time here. We spend a lot of time lately in Danville and had not Heard of or tried The Still. I'm very glad we did. It's definitely the best spot in Danville. Food was great. The house salad was fantastic, the arancini we really great and we loved the brussel sprouts. Next time we'll have entrees. And the drinks were spectacular. Cool spot. Definitely try it if you're anywhere nearby.

We had a great experience!! Ethan was amazing! The food was mind blowing I had the burger of the week it was crazy good! My wife had the Pierogies and shrimp!

Great restaurant the atmosphere was good the food wss good and the server was very helpfull. Had the NY strip and 2 bloody Mary's the steak was good and the bloody Mary's were good 2 they use there own liquor that they distill it's not bad. The only thing about it that wasn't so great was the price for 3 people the bill was over 200 with tip and the food was good but I've had better steaks for less than $45 dollar's I didn't complaine cause I like what there trying to do with the restaurant and distillery but my steak shouldnt have been really tough and had more fat than should of been on a 45 dollar steak the appitesers and drinks were good and the other 2 people had no complaints so I'd go back again

The chef here has kept the menu here simple yet elegant. We decided to share small plates- and I’m so happy we did. Who knew deviled eggs could be such a treat?! The Brussel sprouts are wonderful and plenty to share for the table. The mussels are fresh and delicious.

I highly recommend trying the smoked old fashioned! Smoked with pecan wood- it is amazing! Of course, since The Still is part of the Blue Rook Distillery- you have to try the Cachaça. It’s a light South American liquor that is somewhere between a white rum and tequila. It is fantastic and they have several wonderful drinks featuring this wonderful libation!

Don’t forget to stop by the gift shop and buy a bottle to take home!

Food and service were both very good. We always have good food at this restaurant. Noise level is low to moderate so it is easy to hear the people at your table. Our favorite place to eat in Danville.

We really enjoyed this little gem tucked away. Our service was top notch and we felt the overall experience was great. The Cacio E Pepe deviled eggs, Pan roasted chicken breast, and the warm banana bread pudding was perfect. The Cachaca drinks were very good. We bought two bottles for home. We look forward to returning soon.

The food and drinks were great. The wait staff was super friendly. The overall experience took a little longer than expected but our waiter was apologizing for it all night and kept giving us updates. Portions were huge!

We attended the Master the Art of Cane “tour” and followed that with dinner. We had a great time and a great meal.

The Still is the best thing Danville has going for it. Great food, service, and an outstanding atmosphere!

I really love The Still. It's one of my favorite options for date night with my husband. They have healthier options than most restaurants in our area and the herbs, veggies and microgreens are always so fresh and flavorful. Just wish they'd bring back their Kale Crunch Salad and Truffle Raviolis as I loved both those dishes. I also love their rotating taste menus. It's always nice to try them out when I'm feeling adventurous. Drinks and cocktails are also great and the staff is really friendly and inviting.
