A very quaint small restaurant by the county airport. Picturesque setting atop the mountain.The restaurant appears well kept and clean. Server was efficient and polite. Burger was fresh and tasty. Tater tots were perfectly crisp. The chef salad was also fresh and crisp, although a bit small. Breaded Portabella mushrooms appetizer was very good. Prices were very reasonable. We look forward to another visit.
We had a party of five and we were served promptly. The Monte Cristo was excellent onion rings were some of the best! Stopped in for lunch before writing the first frontier Appalachian trail on our side by side.

Despite slow service due to understaffing, the waitress was friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The loaded fries, double cheese burger, and Philly cheesesteak sandwich are recommended options, with many customers enjoying the burger and perfect fries. Kids can watch a helicopter land and play corn hole, adding to the fun. While the service is decent, there have been moments of apathy from the staff when questions about the food are asked. Some diners have noted that the portions can be small, like the grilled chicken sandwich, where the bun and vegetables overpowered the chicken. The coleslaw and sweet tea have room for improvement, but overall, the prices are reasonable. With a bigger staff, Cloud 9 Cafe would thrive even more.
