After many years of wanting to, we finally made it down to Covington to experience this delightful place. If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know I bemoan the lack of intensity, awareness and service at almost every place I visit. The Purple Poulet is an exception. The cozy atmosphere, attentive service, delicious and creative food, left nothing wanting. We relocated the the Cincinnati 6 yrs ago from Buffalo, NY. I've always considered Buffalo a great food city second only to New Orleans. Friends took us here and all I could say was wow! Totally impressed by the well-decorated interior and cleanliness. I had the Shrimp & Grits (loved them) and others in our party had the Fried Chicken. My wife said it was the best she has ever had! We finished the meal with the Bread Pudding Souffle...if you've ever been to New Orleans...
