Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after a very bad experience at #GoldenCorral. Ordered drinks, waited almost 15 minutes for the waitress to return with our drinks and take our order. Never saw her again, I left. The place was not full.
I went to #CaptainD's, had great service, great food. I highly recommend Captain D'S, not Cheddars.

I came here yesterday and the young lady at the bar was amazing. Quick service offered me a tea while I waited just amazing. Food was great so that’s why I came back today. I sit at the bar for a good five minutes until I realized I was being ignored. Several people was sitting at a table near the bar where I was sitting eating which were employees and honestly, I didn’t think nothing about it until I noticed no one said hello, no one said he or she’ll be right with you. No one said I’ll be right with you. No one said anything. eventually, a man came up and he said can I help you? This is the same man that was at the table with the other employees. Well, I ordered my food. He did not offer me anything, even though he saw that I had waited there now a good almost 10 minutes. A lady came up and I asked if I could have a tea and she graciously went and got it for me. The man brought my food. It was just matter of fact no smile no nothing. He took my card, and ran it and that was it. He acted like it was an inconvenience that he had to help me. I don’t believe he said thank you or have agood day or whatever then I get out to my car and where I got croissants yesterday I didn’t get nothing but just what I ordered, which was fine, but you would think the manager would want to make sure that I returned. I would definitely like to make a formal complaint about him. Customer service is not his forte.

We went there with our granddaughters yesterday. We all ordered steak well done. My wife,one granddaughter and my steak were cooked perfectly, but our youngest granddaughters steak was medium rare at best. We sent it back and waited forever to get her replacement. We weren't offered refills either. I think shift change may have had something to do with this . A couple of other tables around us had trouble getting food or cooked wrong also. We've ate at the Bowling Green location and had good experiences so not a deal breaker on the franchise but just on this location.

I ordered a steak to go, with broccoli and fries. I requested that the steak be medium well and it wasn't even medium. The broccoli was not seasoned at all. The only saving grace were the fries as they were decent. I asked for silverware to be included with my food and it was not. I definitely won't be going back and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Usually enjoy eating here but was taken to a table and not served after 20 minutes. I could understand if the person who sat us told us “hey there’s gonna be a wait time.” But there was none of that. We were sat and forgotten it seemed, please get more attentive staffing or train them better <3

Spoke with the manager Corbin showed him how bland the Salmon and rice were- his response “sorry”! The WORST Salmon I have ever had - service was “okay” - dining area not very clean. Another restaurant that sadly has gone downhill in E’town .

Went in on a Friday night, and granted other places had a 2 hour wait. We were seated immediately and there were plenty of available tables, it still took an hour and a half to get our food out to us. Waiter did an amazing job of refilling drinks and checking on us. Food came out. I got the pork chops and they were cooked perfect and tasted great. Wife got a medium rare steak that came out well done and tasted like charcoal. Baked potatoes were cold. It didn't seem busy but they were either short staffed or they just didn't seem to care much. Wife has eaten here loads of times with no issue but that night they were really off

I visited this restaurant recently with a group of four and feel compelled to share our experience, particularly regarding the service, to help inform other diners and hopefully provide constructive feedback to the establishment.

The evening began with significant delays in drink service. Two mixed drinks our group ordered arrived well after our food, and when they finally came, they were noticeably diluted from sitting too long. Throughout the meal, we found ourselves having to seek out other staff members for basic items like straws and drink refills, as our assigned server was rarely present.

When our server did appear, she explained her absence was due to being busy with other tables. This was puzzling, as the restaurant was notably quiet with only two other tables we could see in her section. We later noticed these other tables expressing concerns to management about the service quality.

The payment process was particularly problematic. When using a gift card for a portion of the check, it was incorrectly applied to the other couple in our group's bill. When this was brought to our server's attention, we were told nothing could be done to correct it. The other couple ended up saying they would Venmo us the difference as the server would not do anything to correct it. After this, our credit cards were initially charged to the wrong bills, though this was eventually corrected after a 10-15 minute delay. Instead of explaining the situation, we were simply told the computers were down. While there were a number of service issues while we were there, this bothered us the most as we were treated as if it was our fault that the gift card and credit cards were charged incorrectly, even after informing the waitress we would splitting the bill and showing her which of us should be on each bill.

The food we received was good and while I understand that everyone can have an off day, the consistent issues throughout our visit and lack of proactive communication made for a disappointing experience.
