“Tiny hole in the wall taco shop. Smells amazing from the outside and that was enough to get us in the door to try it. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. I got the carnitas tacos with cilantro, lime, onion, and then a Mexican Coke on the side. Phenomenal. Their sauces will light you up, too, so if you're up for a little warmth, be sure to get some.Fish tacos? The bomb.Chicken tacos? Superb.Nachos? Sublime.The tacos are just a touch on the pricier side but worth every penny. Overall, this place will be a staple for the foreseeable future.”

“This is the kind of place that is so very hard to find these days. It really does have the feel of what I would expect in a "speakeasy". It's a great room .. easy lighting, appropriate background music and decor, and the staff is on their game. Not only do they dress the part, they know what they're doing. And, they know how to talk to a customer and make him feel welcome. Camron was his name, and service was his game. :) The main restaurant is upstairs, but we had a charcuterie plate at the bar. We are not local, but we will be back at every opportunity.”

“We visited for lunch and was overall happy with this place. The music was good and the waitress was very attentive. The burgers and sandwiches are pretty big and tasty. The only issue we had was the chicken from the bluegrass sandwich. It was overcooked and tough.”

“Went to dinner the weekend before New Year's with family. Got right in and sat down. The waitress was awesome and had our drinks out within a few minutes of getting there.I had chicken and steak stir fry with coconut shrimp and a fried California row. The hibachi chef was funny and nice and everything tasted great. The price is high but worth it. I highly recommend it.”

“Let me preface this review by saying that I lived in Japan for many years.I have experienced sushi good and bad. Kansai Japanese Steakhouse is excellent in all aspects as far as sushi and sashimi goes. I have not tried the teppan yaki meals yet, but I plan to in the near future. We opted for the Chef's special sushi and sashimi combo meal that also includes two very delicious sushi rolls. We added a side of eda mame for an appetizer. Everything was fantastic. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh. The rolls were amazing as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. If you find yourself near Ft. Knox, make Kansai a must experience on your culinary quest.”

“Food is absolutely amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful as they catch a minute. Seemed understaffed but tried to the best of their abilities to mask it. Would def recommend for anyone, but just make sure you have the time and patience to enjoy this kind of hidden gem. Well worth it!Kid-friendliness: Try very hard to make it fun for kids, it just takes a while to do the hibachi grill.”

“My steak was over cooked but still good. Generally every time I go to a steak place they over cook my steak (I order medium and usually get medium-well/ well). The mac&cheese is AMAZING. I'd go back for just that and the bread, of course. I do plan on going back. My husband's steak came out perfectly medium.”

“Food was excellent ! The fries was delicious and I'm not a fry person at all ! Staff went above and beyond to make sure or visit was like we was the only ones in the whole restaurant ! I have 1 complaint . The lids kept popping off our dranks and the drank would spill on us . That's the 1 and only complaint that I could give them . I would totally recommend eating here just be really careful with your drank so you don't end up wearing it .”
