This is the kind of place that is so very hard to find these days. It really does have the feel of what I would expect in a "speakeasy". It's a great room .. easy lighting, appropriate background music and decor, and the staff is on their game. Not only do they dress the part, they know what they're doing. This place is pretty cool. The atmosphere is Prohibition Era. It’s kind of dark, has a variety of type of lights hanging from the ceiling, many little seating areas, plus the bar. There are no TVs for watching sports … after all, there were no TVs during Prohibition time. They serve a few small plates (the charcuterie was tasty) and the bartenders are fantastic. We've been wanting to breeze through here for a while, so when we got our chance we were a bit apprehensive that it would just be another regular kentucky bar. It was not.This place was fantastic!The atmosphere, lighting, noise level was all tailored to a calm, fancy evening out.
