The breakfast was delicious and the service excellent. I was tended to, but nowhere near excessively, making the experience relaxing.

Ask for Jerry to be your server. He is amazing.

We really enjoyed the pecan pancakes and other sides here. Waitresses here we're very good, experienced and helpful. She was already on top of it with extra napkins for our kids. We never had to worry about asking for refills, they were on top of it. Only issue is that there is an upcharge for plain hash browns instead of getting the hash brown casserole.Vegetarian options: Highly recommend the impossible sausage. The price has come down on it and made it more reasonable. Plus, I wouldn't pass on the biscuits here. Combined with pancakes it's a win-win. The only thing that I would speak against is the hash brown situation.. if you look at the menu the only thing that's available are various types of hash brown casserole, which doesn't work for people who don't want meet or cheese and other things, but there's an upcharge from the price of the casserole just for plain hash browns on the side? What's up with that?

I was a customer but I was also an employee, that being said I know how much they care about the people working for them and they express all the time how important customer service is, that they love to come there because of the love, the environment, the service, the food, the respect, and most importantly the connection made with each individual customer. They are family to Cracker Barrel. I have worked in a food business for quite some time and I have never been in a restaurant that cares as much as they do about the customers, the quality of the food, as well as the respectful service provided.

What an awful experience! Terrible service! Not one order at our table was correct. When the food finally arrived after almost an hour, we then had to wait another 10 minutes for silverware. Our drinks arrived after our meals were almost finished. Just awful. By the way, no credits on our bill. I would not recommend this Cracker Barrel.

For some reason they cannot cook a steak medium....their other food is decent but they do struggle to get food out to the table while it is all hot. On the upside they now serve alcohol ?

I went into the Elizabethtown Kentucky location to try again for a better experience. Our last experience was very POOR. We took my 18 month old baby to the restaurant. We were seated for 20 minutes and never were offered a drink. In fact; an older couple who came in 10 minutes after we were seated were approached first, and offered a drink and to take their order by a waitress. Our menus were closed and no one had approached us or had taken our order or helped us. I can give the exact time we were seated, as I made a purchase in the store prior. 2:01pm was the stores purchase. I wasn’t asked if I had an account with Cracker Barrel for this transaction either. We walked out at 2:20pm.We will not be back to this location ever again. It wasn’t that busy, and we felt invisible. Maybe it’s because we didn’t look like we would tip because we had a baby with us? The couple that was served first was at the table next to us.I highly encourage corporate to have a mystery shopper come to this location and report back to management because I doubt it’s just us! Horrible experience and eating elsewhere. Sorry, but a complimentary meal would never make me go out of my way to waste time at this establishment again!
