Hibachi Chicken did not look or taste like it usually does. Very dry, and the sauce was way too sweet. Tasted like the awful hodgenville “Japan” restaurant.

Great customer service and wonderful atmosphere. Sushi was dry, fried veggies were weird and the miso soup was good.

Came in around 3, got sat for habachi and was told I had to wait on the grill to heat up, I said ok no problem. Sat there for about 20 mins or so and then she said I had to wait on other parties to come so that was another 20 mins, I sat and enjoyed a drink this whole time. Then the cook came, he had to be new because he tried swirling around the utensils but kept dropping them, couldn’t crack the egg right, then he proceeded to cook the rice and vegetables, and burnt the rice. He scrambled and stirred the rice for about 10 mins or so before he added any butter or sauce, then he added a ton of yum yum sauce on the grill. When he serviced it, it was sweet fried burnt rice, it had burnt pieces throughout the rice, disgusting. And the chicken had burnt pieces as well. Very dissatisfied of this service. You hate to ask if they can redo it in the back because then you never know what’s happening in the back…

I have had high hopes for this restaurant for quite some time. Poor service and lack luster food. We were extremely unimpressed.• The service was virtually absent. I asked for a drink menu and the waitress told me it was on the website. I looked through the menus on the website and could not find it. At least have a QR Code on the menu to scan or something. She also did not ask if I wanted a drink after telling me to look online.• We waited at least 40 minutes for food.• The miso had calamari in it? But no seaweed or tofu?• His filet mignon meal was 2/3 fried rice and overcooked. They also covered at least an entire onion with the beef, making the steak meal probably 6 or 7 oz of overcooked meat.• My sushi took longer than his steak by about 10 minutes total. The sushi wasn’t good enough for what they have it priced at, and the size of the rolls are not advertised. We will not be returning.

I have been going to Ginza for years - pretty much order the same thing every time….. Texas Roll and a Volcano Roll. The Texas Roll came out followed by something other than a Volcano Roll. I told the waitress that this was not ours and she insisted it was a Volcano Roll. I was very disappointed for the first time at this place.

Good, fresh, but they add touch sauce and it comes out too salty. I think if we go back I'll ask for light sauce!

As Ginza is one of our favorite places when we go into eTown we decided to drop by for lunch on Monday, February 19th, 2024. This time we were very disappointed. After we sat down at the hibachi it was 20 minutes if not later before someone would even come up and ask us what we would like to drink. Why is that? Very disappointing. After ordering our sushi it took them 30 minutes before we even got our sushi. Again, why did it take so long to order sushi? I will mention that it was not busy at all at the time that we arrived. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant when we were there. It was around 4:00 p.m. Not to mention the chef was very slow. Service was very slow. The chef only attended to one item at a time. When he was done with the steak then he tended to the seafood etc. I ordered filet mignon and scallops and only got three scallops and they were burnt. We hardly got any vegetables as well. He did not have enough to give everyone a decent amount. My plate was mostly rice. As much as we enjoy this place it was very very disappointing this round. Whether or not we will return remains to be seen but only getting three scallops with the price charged, It was not worth it.Has it gone under new management? It definitely is not the same quality as we have experienced before. Very sad indeed.

Service was horrific. Was seated and waited over 10 minutes just for my drink order as multiple servers walked by me. Of the 3 I asked for something to drink, none came back with anything. Waitress lacked any personality and it seemed as if I was inconveniencing her. As I waited, I watched other patrons enter, be seated, and very expeditiously, have their orders taken. Worth noting, I was by myself, just after the lunch hour on a Sunday. Maybe I was a lower priority due to decreased tip potential. The food was good and portions were adequate. These positives are completely diminished by the staff’s lack of attentiveness and professionalism.
