Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Had a very hard time finding a clean plate. They were all nasty with stuck on food. None of the food I tried was very good. Not 20.00 worth of good for sure. Save your money and go to a nice steak house. Used to eat here all the time years ago. It’s just not good anymore. Kind of sad.

We always dine when in Elizabethtown, but yesterday’s menu fell short from other meals, not flavorful and food not hot., maybe another time when there.

Went there once a few weeks ago. The experience was horrible. My wife and I are "60+", so we qualify for the early bird special for $9.99 including drinks starting at 1:00pm according to the website. So we arrived at 1:40, and was charged over $30 and was told at this location the early bird special started at 2:00. Having driven an hour and a half one way to try the buffet, we paid the price rather than wait another 20 minutes. The food wasn't really good, and my wife left a negative review.
Wanting to make it right, the manager said she would comp a free meal to my wife. So, after not wanting to be overcharged for my meal, I once again checked out the website. Ok, we're good. Saturday, after 2:00 we got there. They say they comped my wife's meal and mine alone, 60+, came to almost $25.00. REALLY!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!

I AM WARNING EVERYONE OUT THERE, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST.

The food was not very good. It was mostly under or over cooked. Definitely not worth the price. We witnessed staff members arguing over tips, Definitely won't return.

The food was fresh and hot! Fried chicken was excellent, but the little piece of steak that was given to me was a bit tough and grisly.

The food was tasty. The waiter was attentive and good. The building was old and bathrooms were nasty.

The food was not good. It was dry and there just isn’t enough variety. It use to be a lot better. Since the remodel it’s went downhill.

Seen 4 roaches within 2 weeks ... left end of the food line ...there is a crack opening of the wall, I watched 4 roaches crawl in and out of the space for over 10 mins ..I told the meat cook but he not understood my language. I also reported the incident and even showed an employee as he watched the roach disappeared behind the wall as he attempted to grab it speci to no avail.

EDITED: I did contact customer service and was able to speak to the assistant general manager of this restaurant.
She was very helpful and has offered us a deal to take care of the problems we had. She was very respectful and courteous. We are happy with this, and will come back to try it again.
** Online said senior discount for $9.99 started at 1 pm local time. Got there at 1:40 pm, and were denied. Not happy about that. This was our first time here.
So, the drink was almost $4. The meal was $2 more. Which was supposed to include the drink. So, our first time didn't go over well at all! The flavor of the food we had was enjoyable. Very good. Great variety on the buffet!

It’s a buffet. The food was meh almost everything I got had just… weird aftertastes. The chicken and pizza was good. And the chocolate covered strawberries were great other than that. Meh. The service was amazing! The man that waited our table was hilarious and welcoming and very vigilant with drinks or clearing plates. The atmosphere… it’s a buffet , it’s fun to people watch at least.
