Home-made style food. Super friendly and unique experience. I will be back for sure.

If I could give La Paloma more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat. This hidden gem is everything you could ever hope for in a Mexican restaurant — and then some.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The service is genuinely outstanding. The woman taking orders was kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about making sure every guest not only enjoys their meal, but truly experiences it. She checked in with such warmth that it felt like I was being served by family.

Now, onto the food — simply put, it doesn’t get more authentic than this. Every bite tasted like it was crafted with care, tradition, and a whole lot of love. You can taste the difference in everything, from the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh, vibrant salsas.

One detail that really stood out: the chips are hand-baked in-house, not mass-produced like most places. You can immediately tell — they’re lighter, crispier, and have a flavor you can’t replicate out of a bag. It's little touches like these that show how much pride and attention goes into every single plate they serve.

The food came out quickly but was clearly made fresh to order, and everything was served hot and bursting with flavor. Every dish felt like a personal gift from the kitchen — comforting, honest, and unforgettable.

La Paloma isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a place where you can taste tradition, love, and dedication in every bite. The owners deserve the world for what they’ve created here — a beautiful reminder of what food is supposed to be: made with heart, shared with care, and remembered long after the meal is over.

I’ll be recommending La Paloma to everyone I know, and I can't wait to come back. Thank you for one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time.

The tamales were good. The chips and salsa were very good. I wish there was more salsa.

Passing through, had 2 tacos and a steak quesadilla! Wow so fresh and simple.

I have gone to the great clips next door for a while and for some reason I’ve never thought of going to La Paloma. The food was very good food and lots of options for my family. The environment reminds me of my Mexican grandmother. From the Hispanic candy and the Spanish shows playing in the background, it really make you feel like home

My fiancé and I ordered chicken tacos from this place and found that they smelled off. The chicken wreaked of something sour as if it was out for too long. We decided not to eat here and spoke to the waitress, who said it was fine and some other off color things that I won't mention.

We still tipped, but we will not be returning.

This was an awesome and unexpected find for a quick dinner. We were visiting from out of town and needed something easy, found this place in the Kroger parking lot. Everything we had was delicious, homemade tortilla chips, tamales and tacos. The service was incredibly quick and the prices are super reasonable (with the way fast food prices are right now, you could easily spend more at McDonald's!). Would highly recommend, we are sad we don't live here and can't return again soon!

This is a hidden gem, across from Kroger. Quicker than a fast food joint. Hyper-local, super authentic food. Completely different style of tortilla chips - I loved them. Ordered the special plate - Burrito La Paloma. This place should change their name to “Deliciosa.” Best Mexican flavor I have ever had. The place is tiny but the flavor is bold. They don’t have a soda machine so sprite is served in a bottle. Most plates range $9-$11.

This place is trash. I asked for a dish with no vegetables, including no onions. I told the waiter that I don’t like vegetables, and she confirmed my order. Whenever I got my food, it had onions in it. I told her and she said I can pick out since they were big enough and that the chicken comes with onions. I even speak Spanish, so I don’t understand how she messed my order up. Chips were old, we ordered queso and got a small amount. Don’t waste your money here. Worst Mexican restaurant in Elizabethtown.

I truly love this place. The food is just perfect, I can practice listening to the TV in Spanish, and the service is so friendly. I feel like coming to La Paloma is coming home.

Not good. Will not be returning. Food is bland and tasteless. Got the chicken empanadas they were dry and had nothing but shredded chicken in them. I had the enchiladas verdes with beef, not enough meat inside and the sauce was spicy, zero flavor. Salsa looked weird, my husband's quesodilla was dry, and I asked for lemon or lime for my water when we ordered our mains, I never received either. The mains and appetizers came out at the same time. $44 wasted.
