Worst place in etown. I've tried to order food 4 times since they've opened and had no luck. Twice they said they were understaffed. Beware ppl

We went to Pappaw's BBQ today for the first time. I was very impressed! The food was really good. I got the loaded fries which had chicken breast, nacho cheese, and BBQ sauce on them. It was enough for 2 people. My husband got the combo meal with chicken, pork, and brisket, cole slaw and baked beans. He said the baked beans were the best he's ever had. The service was awesome. They have live music every weekend, so we will definitely be back! And to top it off, the owner is a Buffalo Bills fan!! If you've never tried this place, give it a try. You will not be disappointed!
Has potential, but some menu items were a bit bland.

Phone order, asked for sweet BBQ sauce and didn't expect it dumped over all the meat. Could only taste sauce so I can't say the brisket or other meats were good or not. For the price put sauce on the side. Overall for the price, would not eat there again, food wasn't the best.

This place is a SERIOUS Buffalo Bills community. The Missus was very welcoming and hospitality goes a long way with me. However as a Texas-Hoosier hybrid I take my food smoking serious. The brisket was very tender but lacked enough seasoning to push out the true flavor it. Cheesy potatoes need to be revamped. They would be much better baked with the cheese maybe add some onions into with light seasoning and pepper. They literally taste like unseasoned fried potatoes with the stadium cheese from high school football games. This place has the prime location. They just need to make some small adjustments and could own this city.

This restaurant does a lot for their community. This Thanksgiving they delivered meals to people who couldn’t make it to their FREE Thanksgiving dinner that they were having in the restaurant for Thanksgiving. They also put on a really amazing firework show on the Fourth of July. They do free meals often, which help the homeless in our community. They are actually doing what Jesus himself wanted us to do and that is to take action to help your fellow neighbor to feed the hungry and provide for those in need instead of just praying for a ghost to do it
Not bad. Country look. Food was average. Sides were good. It’s kinda awkward since they are trying hard to be counter-culture as referenced in the picture. But the server lady was really nice and sweet.

Gentleman who was up front might need an attitude adjustment. The lady who helped me was wonderful.

BBQ sauce although didn't taste bad was just spread across the top on the meat. Some of the meat was seasoned better than others and there were dry pieces of brisket.

I truly must say that the service and atmosphere were very good. The brisket sandwich I received was about 2/3 fat and very little brisket. My wife got a bit more meat than what I received. The portions were quite small for the money charged. Deez Butts portions are much larger.

The BBQ was very good. The sauce was good too.
I ate inside . But Imy meal was served on a starofoam plate. The meal was pulled pork sandwich , Mac n cheese, and potato salad. It was not hot and the mac n cheese was dry. But let me say again , the BBQ was very good

We had an exceptional meal. Hubs got really into the combo platter & ribs were my choice. They were out of brisket so must be a popular item. Not only the food was exceptional but the owner took time to speak with us. Especially appreciate when proprietor engages, obvious they are not just a place to eat. The owner shared how they are being good neighbors w community outreach & free meal special on Tuesday (pay if you can).
This establishment is exceptional from food to people.
I was slightly bummed that the restaurant was out of some meats but ordered chicken nachos instead. I had soggy chips, and the meat was lukewarm. Had an issue just trying to get our check and had to go find my server. I've eaten here twice before with no issues. This time, I wasn't as fortunate.
