We went to Pappaw's BBQ today for the first time. I was very impressed! The food was really good. I got the loaded fries which had chicken breast, nacho cheese, and BBQ sauce on them. It was enough for 2 people. My husband got the combo meal with chicken, pork, and brisket, cole slaw and baked beans. He said the baked beans were the best he's ever had. The service was awesome. They have live music every weekend, so we will definitely be back! And to top it off,...
Phone order, asked for sweet BBQ sauce and didn't expect it dumped over all the meat. Could only taste sauce so I can't say the brisket or other meats were good or not. For the price put sauce on the side. Overall for the price, would not eat there again, food wasn't the best.
This place is a SERIOUS Buffalo Bills community. The Missus was very welcoming and hospitality goes a long way with me. However as a Texas-Hoosier hybrid I take my food smoking serious. The brisket was very tender but lacked enough seasoning to push out the true flavor it. Cheesy potatoes need to be revamped.
