Rally’s Review – Unacceptable Behavior from the General Manager
I had a very disappointing experience at Rally’s today. I placed an order and went to pay with a $50 bill because I had accidentally left my debit card at home. Ryan, who said he was the General Manager, refused to take it, saying he didn’t want to make his drawer low for the next customer.
Before anything escalated, I asked politely if I could speak to someone above him. He responded, “I’m not going to give out his info.” Then I asked if anyone on staff might have change, and instead of trying to help or problem-solve, he said, “I’m not going to argue with you,” and slammed the window in my face before walking away.
My 17-year-old son was in the back seat. He works at McDonald’s, and I told him, “This is exactly how you should never treat a customer. If you acted like that, you’d be fired.” It was a teaching moment—but it shouldn’t have come from watching a General Manager act this way.
Rally’s should seriously evaluate who they put in leadership positions. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and turns people away from your business.

I didn't check my bag but I shouldn't have to. My wings were absent from the order. I went back the next day with my receipt and the guy took my information in the back of a grease stained receipt, promising a voucher. He was acting very irritable. I'll be shocked if I ever get the voucher. However, the food I did get was bomb and everything else was fine

Spent 30 dollars and only thing was right was milkshakes and bite box
Ask for two Philly cheesesteak meals with no onion
Instead got two beef patties with bacon and extra onion

Pathetic a person can't understand what you say when you tell them only onion, bacon & cheese. Ol dude proceeded to tell me it comes with sauces.. ok I get that but when someone says onion, bacon & cheese that's what the heck I wanted not mayo. Place used to be good but now seems like they got some burned out people who can't think straight. Smfh. When you say specifically what you want then they add what they want your wrong avoid the place I would & will.. 🤷🏼♀️ p.s if your seeing the comment ol dude sounds like you need to teach your trainee better communication & how to take a order correctly..
I was parked so we could “wait for fresh meat to come off the grill.” My food hadn’t come out after 15 minutes, so I went to check on it and the woman was rude. I asked for a refund. I was told no one in the store was able to refund my money and I could come back later if I wanted one. I spent $50 for my family to have a fast lunch and not only waited a total of 25 minutes but the manager was not remotely apologetic.
I get that the job is stressful, but all I wanted was what I PAID for, within a reasonable amount of time.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Wretched staff.
RIDICULOUS policy if no one can even give you a refund when something goes terribly wrong.

Tabitha was very rude and disrespectful she gave me the wrong order and refused to refund me and then when asked for her name to call higher ups about her she said I don’t have to tell you that laughs and slams the window in my face! This is the most disrespectful person I’ve ever seen in fast food never eat here

This place is absolutely ridiculous! I will never come back to this place no matter if I’m starving or not. I came to this rally’s twice in the last 24 hours and each visit was atrocious. On the first visit it was January 9, 2025 at around midnight and my boyfriend and I were hungry and decided that rally’s sounded good. We ordered our food and then went to the window to pay and the man working at the window was filthy from head to toe and had a cigarette tucked behind his ear. The dude looked like he hadn’t showered in weeks. His attitude wasn’t any better as he seemed very easily irritated only because he was aggressively moving around the kitchen. We get all the way home to find out our order was missing condiments requested and was super messy. I called the manager and he was very nice but I did not get his name. Fast forward to later on in the day. It is still January 9th around 4:45 pm and I decided to go back to rally’s and give them another chance and the service was awful! That man working the window was extremely rude and honestly coming off pretty hostile towards me. He slammed the drive thru window on me while I was asking a question and just stood there staring at me in an instigating way. I would love to have a follow up on this because i feel like this type of demeanor and attitude should not be had when working in customer service or even fast food. If you don’t want to do your job without being absolutely miserable then go find another job. I had been to a rally’s in Youngstown ,Ohio and their customer service was out of this world. The one in Elizabethtown is not a place I would recommend anyone to go to. The employees they have that I have encountered (besides the manager I spoke with) sort of come off as some not so good people. Almost all of them look very dirty and unhygienic. I hate to have to write this place off but I cannot consume any of their food knowing the type of people they have making and serving it. 0/10 DEFINITELY NOT KID FRIENDLY!

I went through drive thru ordered the rally burger with cheese combo. While sitting at the window I could see the guy making my sandwich. He only had one glove on yet continued to touch my sandwich with the ungloved hand. I asked the lady at the window why he only had one glove on; her response was "I don't know". She then shut the window walked over by him. He continued to wrap my sandwich, she put it in the bag and handed it to me like I was still supposed to eat it. I went ahead and pulled off because if I would have said anything else I was going to hurt some feelings (which maybe I should have). I didn't eat any of the food because I don't know where his hands have been before touching my food. Touching food without gloves on both hands is already a huge issue but then when someone says something about it and you continue to give it to them anyways just makes the issue even worse!

I had to wait nearly 5 minutes for someone to take my order and I paid good money for a sliver of chicken breast and mostly lettuce on my sandwich. My fries tasted like funnel cake. Please keep the funnel cake fries out of the regular fry basket. There should be 1 designated for them.
