Went to Steak & Shake in Elizabethown, Ky. bought two $4.99 milkshakes through the drive thru window on 5/15/25. Both of them were 1/3 of container was really thick whipped topping on the bottom, 1/3 milk shake in the middle and 1/3 really thick whipped topping on top. So only 1/3 of the milk shake was really milk shake, 2/3 was whipped topping. The milk shake part was very good but the whipped topping part was a disgusting cheap taste. For $4.99 each this was a real rip off.

Really delicious garlic burger. Half price shakes 2-4pm Monday-Friday Get the app and get a free shake after 4pm Nutella shake is fire (delicious) so is the banana shake. The pretty blonde with the long ponytail is the only nice worker there. Not sure if she’s the manager or the owner. This place needs new employees and it would do better - take a look at how people at chic-fil-a act.

They've automated everything you order food from a kiosk, and you can't get a fountain drink without scanning your receipt at the fountain, but there's no signs, and no one tells you this. The food is still good, though.
Kid-friendliness: They give you hats crayons and paper cars for the kiddos.

No servers have to do everything your self.....no service At all...my mom even had to clean our table because there is no longer anyone to do it....service is the worst than any other restaurant I have ever been to in my life....never going back ..ever

I got the BBQ bacon burger combo it was nothing but grease crunchy and very thin the workers were very rude I have never been so disappointed in my life for 3 people at 43 dollars and most of our food went in the Trash I will put the word out there that the food was crap

Had an absolutely amazing experience here. There was a girl that was working and I'm so upset with myself because I can't remember her name but she was between 18-21. She came around to our table just to check on us and see if we needed anything. She was very courteous and authentic. You don't see that a lot these days so I definitely appreciate the fact that she went beyond her work duties just to check on me and my family and make sure we were satisfied with our service. Very sweet of her.

Really love the Banana Shake, and the double steak burger ... Never a complaint when I visit this store. Definitely always an option for Dinner and lunch time. Plus they Menu isn't very pricey so it's definitely good food for a Budget Moment.

I want through the drive-thru today at 6:52pm, very excited to get a chili 5-way. It's my favorite & we don't have Steak n Shake where I live. I quickly glanced in the bag to make sure everything was there (mine & my daughter's food). Started my 30ish minutes drive home. She ate hers but I don't eat & drive so I waited. Opened the package at home....it's just chili & noodles. No onions, no cheese. No biggie, accidents happened. Called to see if I could get it corrected in the future & got hung up on. Wouldn't recommend this location.
