My food was wrong and there was hair on my plate and with just a few people in the restaurant Waiter was telling everyone that came in it would be 5 minutes. More interested in talking and doing dishes than waiting on customers. If I could do less than 1 star I would. Very unhappy

Three years ago, my parents, my nephew, and I took a vacation to see my dads sisters. The waitress took our pic and said to check the wall of pics for ours, next time we came through. Mom passed in December. Dad and I made the trip again last week. Our 1st stop for the night is always Elizabethtown and our 1st place to eat is Waffle House. (We don't have them where we live) I was sure this was the one that took our pic. It took a few minutes, but we found it. What a great realization that mom is on this trip too.

First return to Waffle House in many years (because they stopped expanding north at the Ohio border!). Great service. We asked if they had hot sauce packets or anything to go. Our waitress offered to give us an almost empty bottle of hot sauce. A regional manger looking guy held the door open for us when we arrived. Just the difference between places like Waffle House and some other fast food places. Fun watching the cooks work. I appreciate the assembly line optimization of the work. There's no wasted movement. Good comfort food. The plates fill up the table! Only thing is I remember the menu being bigger 25 years ago 🤷♂️
