We were super excited to try Waters Edge in Etown So let me share our experience. Our appetizers were great the chicken wings cooked to perfection! The service was great! Super nice waitress. However we were very disappointed in our entree’s all 4 of us. The wine was just ok. They better do something quickly about the menu our Entree was TERRIBLE! Chicken carbonara, chicken salad sandwich, shrimp and grits, cuban sandwich it all was horrible. Nice place I hope it gets better! The prices are definitely affordable. You kind of get what you pay for.

We had reservations on 12/2 @ 11:00 to meet other family members for holiday brunch. Drove from Louisville & reservations were verified online by restaurant. We walked in & were told they are closed for a party. Manager kepted saying that they were closed & did not offer any compensation for their mistake. Very disappointed!!!

We spent 2 1/2+ hours and the service was extremely slow. We were the only ones there at first. The waitress didn’t come to check on us for long lengths of time. She was very sweet but it appeared the kitchen was the issue. My husband’s brisket was a child size portion and only fair. My margarita flatbread was good and our salads were good. I ordered a brown butter cake to go and waited, and waited, and waited. We asked for a manager to ck on it and get our bill. He brought a beautiful dessert but it wasn’t boxed up to go. I asked if they would correct this. When they brought it back it was a good 1/4 the quantity of the first dessert. We returned it and asked that it be taken off the bill. Again the kitchen appeared to be the issue. All in all we left pretty disappointed. We didn’t expect fast food service and weren’t in a hurry but this was unacceptable.

Really disappointed today...girls day out at Glendale Days and went to have lunch on a Saturday. Even called first to see if busy since it was a party of 6...told not at all and no problem. We were seated and water brought to our table than we sat for over 20 mins waiting to be waited on..so we left evidently very short staffed only seen the waitress and one other working...and only 3 other tables with customers...we will try again..but we will call ahead to see if they have staff working next time...we would have been happy even just to order a glass of wine!

This is a fairly new winery and bistro in Elizabethtown located in the downtown area. There is private parking available. I happened to be here on a Tuesday evening and the place was actually empty with the exception of a few people sitting outside in the front. Getting prompt service was no problem. I opted to sit at the bar area beings it was just me. They had decent happy hour specials I believe it was half off apps. I did the Ravioli and of course a wine tasting. Can't really pick a favorite wine because really they were all good but, this Ravioli happens to be the best I have had yet and I'm impressed beings this is a winery and bistro. Someone from the kitchen came out and asked how my ravioli was and of course I said it was the best I ever had, he thanked me and proceeded to have a conversation about have I ever been here and the wines. Typically I'm not used to some employees being chatty not that I'm against it, I believe it was because the place was not busy. The good deals they have here I'm surprised they weren't more busy than what they were. Definitely love the inside of this place and they have a private room for parties. This is definitely a place I would come to when visiting Elizabethtown.

We walked in and there was no one at front desk. We had to go search for help, only to get eyerolled. After finally getting a table, we were told to sample any 5 wines on the menu. We turned in our list only to be told later that you can order only select wines on menu. Then we timed it. It took her 30 minutes to pour us our tasting! All wines were bad. Do not go here.

The place was appealing to the eye. Stopped in for some wine tasting as we were just passing through the town . Was disappointed that their wine selection was minimal due to being out of some the wines . The young lady who helped us was nice and seemed to be new.
