This was one of the best Mexican restaurants in the tristate area. They will make your food and drinks to custom order and it is all absolutely delicious. That combined with friendly staff and a 💯 on their health inspection report really impressed me. It's a must go to local hidden gem.

First time we were here. We stopped by for dinner since it was recommended to us and we were starving. Hubby ordered a burrito superior and I ordered the grilled steak fajita. First off, the burrito was so thin. There was nothing inside the burrito but a little bit of flavored hamburger rolled into a burrito shell. The rice and pinto beans were on the same plate plate. My Fajita was normal portion and came with pinto beans and rice. The unfortunate part was the salsa and the meats were very bland. No flavor. What a shame. Maybe we hit them up in a bad day.

We were in town to see family and saw this place on Google. Stopped in and it was the BEST Mexican I’ve had since I lived in California. Staff was friendly and fast!

Popped in for a carryout order. Even after traveling home, it was delicious! Birria quesadilla and tacos al pastor, plenty of beans and rice, street corn. Salsa verde was great. Minus a bit bc the consomme seemed not house made, and just broth/au us-like. Staff were great! Carrot cake was huge, shared over 4 servings.

Kick off your week with a stop at Taco Brothers in Flatwoods!🌮

From the moment you pull in, the experience feels inviting—the parking lot is well-kept, the building design stands out, and the bright mural out front makes the perfect photo op. Inside, the energy is just as welcoming, with a team of attentive staff who work together seamlessly. Drinks stay full, and food arrives quickly without sacrificing quality.

Start your meal with their creamy queso or flavorful street corn before moving on to the main event. Some of my go-tos are the birria burrito loaded with cheesy, savory goodness, the California burrito that’s hearty enough for two meals, and the Baja shrimp taco with just the right amount of zest. Portions are generous, so plan for leftovers.

To finish, treat yourself to dessert made fresh at their sister restaurant, Fratelli’s in Barboursville—rich, moist, and decadent, the perfect sweet ending.

If you’re looking for a great way to start the week, Taco Brothers is it.
