Blind Squirrel - Florence Reviews
Just wanted to give a shoutout to the blind squirrel! Always a great time especially when we get to see Taylor and Tristen on the weekend. Great energy and fun times.
Service was the worst. Sat at the bar by myself for almost 20 minutes before anyone even recognized I was there and even then it was a manager who was helping bartender with something else. Bartender didn't even look at me when he did try to talk me. After 30-35 minutes by Burger and fries finally came out. Food was good. Not a single person came by after I got my food. Place was busy but not swamped. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Cool vibe and the food is decent, but I am not happy that they have started charging customers 3% for using a credit card with no heads up. Waitress or hostess should tell customers before they bring the bill or put a note on the door or menu. This is a sneaky tactic and I won’t be back anytime soon.

The Blind Squirrel is a lively restaurant that offers a variety of American dishes, including the popular Boursin Chicken sandwich, fish tacos, boneless wings, and hamburgers. While the food may not be exceptional, the restaurant's spacious seating area, live music, and outdoor green space with games and a fire pit create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for guests.
The cocktails are a highlight, with delicious old fashions and a great selection of beer. The pretzels and Bier Cheese appetizer are local favorites, and the twister fries are a must-try. With ample parking available, the Blind Squirrel is a convenient spot for a weekday or weekend night out.
Customers praise the restaurant's delicious nachos, spicy blackberry margaritas, and exceptional service. The Philly cheesesteak and chicken wings are also standout dishes, while the fish and chips and chicken cordon bleu sandwich have received mixed reviews. Overall, the Blind Squirrel is a popular destination for a casual dining experience with friends or a date night.
