Please don't call it Chicago style. It sort of looks like Chicago style but it sure doesn't taste like it. Your thin crust, years ago, was pretty authentic Chicago tavern-ish style, but for some reason the recipe changed. Now it's just Florence pizza.

Went here with my family for my Grandsons birthday, this was my first time. There were 8 of us so we decided to try a variety of different menu items so er could sample. There pizza I would say was pretty good, sauce a bit spicy, we got the meats and added other toppings. Also got their spaghetti it was good but could have used more sauce. My daughter got Alfredo, I have to say no stars for that one. She took one bite and did not eat any more, I tried it and I must say...was not a good taste. It was dry and noodles all stuck together. Chicken had a strange taste. Service was pretty good for a larger party. It almost has the feel of a sports bar, without the bar. They did have TVs on the walls. Price ended up being about $16 per person on average.

My husband and I ate there tonight because they were doing specials for pizza week. Well, as soon as we got there we knew we had to have the deep dish instead. It was delicious and the atmosphere at the Newport location is awesome⊠Nice and cozy but city living around the holidays! Staff was super friendly and informative.

First off, letâs just get this out of the way; the food was great. We had the Bourbon BBQ Wings, Deep Dish Chicago Pizza, and grabbed a slice of cheesecake on our way out. Not sure any of the 3 could be better.
But the excellent food isnât what brought me to Google reviews at 10:38 on a Friday night to leave a review.
It was the service.
It wasnât a 10/10âŠit was an 11/10! Our waitress was awesome. She checked on us regularly and was friendly and helpful. But she wasnât the only one who checked on us. It was Friday night and the place was packed. SEVERAL team members made appearances at our table throughout our visit. Whether it was to offer to top off a drink, ask us how everything was, or to take an empty appetizer plate off the table as they were passing by, everyone who was in the vicinity of our table tonight checked on us, even if it wasnât âtheir tableâ.
But even while we waited for a table out front before we were seated, I noticed no one standing around talking. No one moving slowly. Nobody âin the wayâ. Team members moved with purpose.
Everyone who walked through the door was greeted promptly. And when they greeted someone, that someone had that team memberâs undivided attention, despite the busyness of the evening. Even the guy on the phone seemed to be âin the zoneâ. What I could see of the kitchen seemed to be very efficient as well.
I see the owner replying to a lot of the reviews on here. So if you see this, tell your team to be proud of themselves. I didnât just see people tonight providing great service. I saw a team putting on a service clinic tonight.
What I witnessed tonight can only be described as a âWell-Oiled Machineâ.

Huge shout out to your Florence staff! Ate there last Saturday night and while the pizza was delicious, the memorable part was the service. EVERY time a server walked past our table, they would checkout table for dirty dishes and check drink levels. Itâs so refreshing to get such good service! At some restaurants, itâs almost impossible to get a drink refill. I did let the staff know they did a great job but wanted to share here. Canât wait to come back!

We have been there several times and have always had great service! All staff is friendly and polite! Absolutely love the garlic knots! We tried the thin crust which is pretty good. I like the crust to be crispier, but glavor was good! The Italian sub is really good as well! We will go back to try the deep dish next time. There is no bar but they serve beer and drinks to the tables .
