Thought we'd try a new place while we had some visitors in town and picked Buck's BBQ...not our best decision. Ordering was confusing we didn't know if someone takes our order at the table or if we order at the counter xnd it took 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter to take our order. We tipped 20% up front and since nobody actually "served" us I wasted that money. The kids Mac and cheese had red pepper flakes....not edible for a 5 year old, at least not for mine. The hamburgers had x nice backyard BBQ flavor but the char had a taste of earwax (could just be me because the onion rings another reviewer thought were the best also tasted of earwax and me and my husband didn't eat with of ours). One in our group had the pulled pork and thought it was delicious and another had the pulled chicken and was happy with it. Overall for 4 adults and 1 child $70 & a very disappointing meal. Just not for us

I ordered brisket and burnt ends and it came with 2 sides cornbread and corn on the cob, it totaled $18 and some change. First of all I had to step back into the kitchen cooking area because I stood at the counter for 4minutes saying hello and no one came out . The girl was standing in the back talking to the other workers, so I sit outside and wait for my food which didn't take long but the food WAS HORRIBLE! There was no burnt ends just greasy chunks on tough brisket then the brisket was tough non seasoned and tasted like grease. The corn bread was thick as pound cake and not cornbread but maybe that's what they call cornbread, lastly the corn on the cob was garbage, the kernels were so shriveled up like it was either over cooked or reheated. I was very disappointed especially since the guy whom I believe was the owner came out and was talking to me and other patrons and talking about his homemade sauce. NEVER AGAIN

Food was really good, A bit confusing if you've never been before. You have to order at desk when you enter then sit They will bring food to you. A little music would be nice its really quite, but will be back for sure!! I did see a spot where They have live music sometimes. The owner is super nice he's always checking to make sure everything is ok.

Order food 24 hour before pickup. When we got there, we’re told all the cooks walk out today. Smokers were not smoking. Buck seen us sitting waiting and ask what we needed. We had four different meats order. He informed us one meat was not available. Offered us to double one meat, but the cost of that meat was much cheaper than what we ordered - I guess he thought we wouldn’t realize it. When ask how long it would be, we were told they didn’t know because their scales were broke. We ask for a refund and got it. Don’t go here!

My girlfriend and I went here because we always pass it going home. Very friendly home/picnic atmosphere. The onion rings were awesome and my pulled pork sandwich was one of the best I've had. The pulled pork fries were crazy good. GREAT BBQ sauce. The coleslaw was good but different. Not sure what they put in it. On a side note the young lady that was there was very friendly and helpful. She even got me a side of ketchup and sauce for my onion rings.Kid-friendliness: Seemed to be a good place to take kids.Parking: It was easy parking.

Some really good BBQ in Florence KY!It's a nice little joint on the side of the road, with open air seating- a main building that's a repurposed auto repair shop with its bay doors rolled up, and a few umbrella tables out front- perfect for summertime lunches and dinners and beers.I went inside and ordered at the front counter a brisket sandwich combo with fries and baked beans. They said it would be somewhat of a wait that day- like everybody else they're understaffed right now. I wasn't in any hurry, so I sat down patiently, and before I knew it, my order was delivered right to my table. To be honest, I've waited longer in a McDonald's drive through, so I was pleasantly surprised to have my food so quickly.I immediately tucked in to my sandwich, which was very well seasoned, and smothered in their own, savory and tangy BBQ sauce, and wafting the warmth and smokiness of BBQ excellence. Unfortunately, you can't hardly find the high quality brisket meats in KY markets, and the cut, though exceptionally well cooked, was not as tender as one would hope. That didn't stop me from devouring it, though; it was still seasoned and smoked so very well. The fries were perfectly crispy, salted, and peppered- the best fries I've ever had from a BBQ place. And, the beans were just killer, slowly braised in their delicious BBQ sauce and with crumbles of good quality burger to give them a beefy flavor; they were so good plain, they would be tasty even on shoe leather, nevermind on some hearty toast. After cooking up a storm, the owner came by to see how we were all faring, and he seemed like a rather great guy and made all us guests feel welcome.I'll definitely be back when I'm craving some good BBQ; they're one of the best I've been to in the Florence area.

Arrived at. 6pm. Girl checking out our part y of 5, we did pay separately, said she has no coins for our change. The first 3 of us had finished eating before the last 2 got their meal. The sliced briquet had a lot of fat and too tough to eat on a sandwich cause it had to be cut.

Only been there once but the food and service was great. Looking forward to getting ribs next time I go.

Buck's isn't the fanciest place in town, and that's exactly what I like about it. The outdoor patio is great on a nice night and the garage doors that open create an authentic BBQ restaurant feel. The service and hospitality were on-point; our food was ordered and served in 10/15 minutes. I ordered the Oinker burger and it did not disappoint. The meat tasted fresh, the pulled pork was fall apart and the Brussels sprouts on the side were fantastic. Buck's is a great spot to grab a quick bite that tastes great and skips the needless frills. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I stopped by here since we have driven past this restaurant several times. It was half full and everyone in the eating area was either waiting on food or drinks. There was only a young girl working the counter. We ordered brisket and green beans for our first time and paid a premium price for "good" bbq ($15 protein/ side/ drink). Once our food arrived, the really small portion surprised me. There was four short and really thin pieces of brisket with bbq sauce sprinkled on top. The brisket was very dry, rubbery in texture and the only flavor was from the bbq sauce. The green beans had way too much pepper and salt. We both took one bite from our brisket, one bite from our green beans and decided we couldn't eat the food. Upon returning our food and asking for a refund, the owner decided to say it was "********* and everyone likes his food. Told me to "go talk to the chef". Added that I was just looking for a free meal lol... this guy was a complete narcissist . The kicker was all the religious signs hangin in his restaurant. Actions speak louder than words. I'll be calling BBB on Monday... no doubt this place will be closed soon with this type of management/ ownership. Sorry for the ramble but this was a fresh experience.

Cute little place near the hotel I stayed at while in town. They offer combos with one of their meats, a side, and a drink. I recommend the pulled chicken. It had a nice smokey flavor. Someone else in my party had the ribs, but I preferred the chicken. Staff were all very friendly and polite.

This place was an absolute delight. We had a pulled pork sandwich, ribs that just fell off the bone clean, cheese fries and My favorite was the sausage links. The cheese sauce was legit and so tasty my husband was dunking his sandwich in it, it was that good. The BBQ sauce it self was absolutely delicious. I don’t like BBQ sauce but this sauce was sweet, tangy, Smokey yet not a typical sauce. The owner was super attentive and kind, chatting with us about him bringing South African BBQ flavors here to KY.I can’t recommend this place fast enough!
