Food was horrible! service was slow! Salad came out 10 minutes after our meal which was a bowl of microwaved mush (supposed to be Mac n cheese) took forever just to get my beer. All for over $50!
B&B hamburgers, cheesecake, and brownie dessert presentation and taste are a cut above most bar food. Reservations made seating timely for food, drinks, and music. Band was really good, easy to hear singer above music & casino.
First time at Bourbon & Brew Turfway. The Whammies were playing on a Saturday night and we love their music and showmanship. We enjoyed the food, the service, and the venue. Chan was our server and she was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service. We grazed on appetizers - pretzel bites, jalapeño poppers, boon shrimp, and the meatballs. Everything was delicious.
First time for dinner and it was very good. We each had a Cobb Salad and it was huge. We could have had 1 and split it, which our server said we could do! Good to know for the future. My only complaint is the noise level. They were broadcasting a college football game and it was so loud, you really could not carry on a conversation with your table mate.
Thank you for making my surprise birthday celebration a wonderful time! Kelsey waited on us at first then Christy took over! They were both super friendly and checked on us all the time! Food was great as well as the drinks!
Wish I remembered our server's name. She was great! It was full house for the Taylor Swift band last night. We had a great time and most of your employees were also Swifties singing along as they ran around . Everyone was so friendly and fun. Our first time there. We will be back for more shows!! We got drinks and apps and food was really good.
We had cosmos, the soup of day; chicken dumplings was delicious and the short rib dinner was equally delicious. The pretzel bites were overcooked/burnt so we sent back and they did not charge us. Very good experience so I recommend it.
Most of our party wanted something lighter so we ordered various sandwiches, Rueben, Club, Double Smash Burger, Philly Cheese Steak with fries. All the sandwiches were very good, fries were crispy and sesoned well.
Soup was cold and seems to be canned soup. Shrimp bang bang was cold. Everyone in our partys food was cold. Onion rings fries sandwiches ect. We were with a large party but the food should have been at least warm.

Food is tasteful & reasonably priced. Wait staff was attentive, without being intrusive. Band was loud, but no more than expected. Surprised at the quality & variety of music. Made for a great evening out.
We have been to these dinners a few times now and enjoy them..service is excellent and food good. We're served much smaller portions this time. Steak was too small and thin and overcooked. Wine samples were good but too small. Love Meiomi wines. We can never hear the speaker...too noisy.
We made a reservation before a concert at Turfway. The restaurant was full from concert goers but they kept the tables moving without rushing you. Great service at I'm sure their busiest time! I got the steak salad which had lots of fresh ingredients and a nice steak on top. My husband got the appetizer sampler. It's huge and everything was delicious. Will definitely eat here again while at the casino.
Even though we had reservations we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is incredible, especially walking past one of the largest selections of bourbon I've seen. Our server, Kevin was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of without hovering. Our drinks and food came out exceptionally fast and every member of the staff had a smile on their face and seemed relaxed, not something I would've expected on Father's Day. The food was top notch and the portions were generous. I told Kevin that we would be in trouble if we didn't have to drive 3-1/3 hours to get there. Any time you are close by this should be your go to Spot.
It is the Kentucky Derby. Have your tables ready with programs available.Your hostess was rude and should not be working around the public. When you pay 100 dollars a person, you expect some professionalism. The whole reason people come is to watch horseracing so please do not sit people where there is no view of a tv(the two side booths). You tried to sit us there and we did get moved but the hostess threw our wristbands on the table. The food was really good and we did have a good waitress. Overall an good time and keep the Derby party going!!
