Not bad for a northern BBQ place. Sausage wasnt quite what we have in Texas, but the brisket and hush puppies were superb The chocolate cake may be the best I have ever had!

Not the best BBQ I've ever had. Not the worst either. I appreciate the smokey flavors that come through the BBQ meats but I felt like it was missing a bit of that oomph you'd expect.
I ordered BBQ ribs and it was a little under seasoned. The free sauces helped it along a ton though which was greatly appreciated.
The brisket burger was a little heavy on the salt though again, you can easily tone it down with the BBQ sauces provided.
The chicken was good. A little dry but again, the free BBQ sauce made it good.
Overall, I'd say it's average. Nothing too serious to complain about but nothing too exceptional either. For the price and location? I'd still say it's still worth a stop if you are nearby with a craving for wet BBQ style foods.

Such a great place. The food is always cooked the correct way nothing's ever over or undercooked. Everything is always flavorful and you can really taste that they care. It seemed like an item was missed. One time I came back they gave me a free cake. They gave me a refund and they gave me the item. This is easily the best City BBQ in the greater Cincinnati area

This location gets a five star from me. Chris runs a great location and does an awesome job supporting local businesses'. Not too mention, the food is great and comes out very timely! All of the staff is very friendly as well.

MANAGEMENT: Quick little tip—The employees that don’t want to be there, please don’t put them on register (even if that means you have to cover for them). Never did management in Food Experience but have managed in other retail areas and that was my approach. Nothing worse than handing $$ over to someone who is dead behind the eyes and seemingly agitated. At the very least rotate those people to none visible roles if possible. There was a girl there w/ a cap on bagging the orders and handing them to the patrons—she was nice/friendly/smiled—she should’ve been on the register. The girl actually working the register was screaming through her body language that standing behind that register was the last place on earth she wanted to be. Food was good though.

Very good barbecue! This is not a sit-down establishment. When you walk in, the aroma is what you would expect from a top-notch barbecue place. The food flavor matched the smell you smell when you walk in. Great for takeout or dine in.
