Drake's is such a gem in the WeHo area. It's in a great location if you want to hop to other bars or shops afterward, too. The dining experience is fantastic, you really feel transported back to the old glamour of Hollywood. You absolutely have to order the frozen martini. It's a must, and you'll be missing out if you don't try one! As for the food, you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu, everything is delicious. And don't skip dessert. My top picks are the strawberry cake and the sundae. I'll definitely be back, Drake's. A true dining paradise!

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. I go to a lot of restaurants in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills and the menu and taste of everything was exceptional. I will recommend to all my friends and I will definitely be back.

We had such an amazing time celebrating our birthday at Drakes! All of the food and drinks were incredible and our service was outstanding. Our sever Rick truly made our experience so enjoyable. The ambiance is beautiful and I look forward to dining here again soon!

My waitress was very nice. The food wasn't good at all. My friend and I ordered the Tuna Rice Cake ( it was ok the rice was too crunchy) Cauliflower Tempura ( great flavor could've been more crispy and the batter was coming off) Loaded fries ( too much going on and the cheese taste funny) Crispy Truffle honey chicken with cream spinach and mashed potatoes (the crispy coating kept falling off the chicken the mashed potatoes tasted like store bought and the creamed spinach had an strong cheese flavor. I wouldn't recommend this place the good wasn't good and it came out cold.

Location/Interior: Cool, old holywood bar/steakhouse feel and vibe (dark panels, large bar), feels cozy and comfortable. Food was of OK quality but not up to the price point they are charging. They are at top-notch steakhouse pricing levels and can not compete with that..neither with the quality nor the taste...and not at all with the service. No one asked or inquired after any of the courses if we liked the food and /or if we enjoyed it. No thank you for dining there. And this despite the restaurant being half empty and there would have been enough time. The manager walked by our table several times but did never check-in nor show any care or interest. He was also totally underdressed wearing a loose fitting polo shirt (not at all fitting a restaurant where you spend easily 200 USD per person for a 3 course dinner and a drink). Also the servers could do with some training on how to clean up a table...the waitress piled up the dishes and tableware and carried items around pressing it to her belly (the manager did the same after cleaning up neighbouring tables). In short, not worth the price despite the food being OK.. if it would be at half the price that would be ok, but not at the top-notch pricing they want to charge.

We came to Drake's Hollywood to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday with dinner and drinks. Some of the food was amazing, and overall the drinks were great, but the service could have been better. I worked in the service industry for eight years, so I understand how things can get during a shift. Our group ranged from ages 21 to 40, and we were really excited for my daughter to get carded for her first legal drink but unfortunately no one in our party was carded, which was a bit of a bummer for the occasion. When ordering drinks, my daughter (the birthday girl) is not much of a drinker and was a little indecisive. The server seemed a bit pushy while taking our orders and moved quickly through the group. Everyone ended up getting their drinks except my daughter at first, which was disappointing since it was her birthday. As the night went on, the server continued to feel a little rushed and pushy with ordering, even though the restaurant was steady but not overly busy. Toward the end of the night, we were getting ready to leave and were just waiting for two people from our group to come back from the restroom. Suddenly, the hostess came over and told us they needed the table for the next party. I completely understand needing the table, but the way it was said felt abrupt and the tone could have been a bit more polite. The food and drinks were great, but service really impacts the overall experience. With better service, this place could be excellent.

This visit was a reminder of why it has been several months since I have been here. The bar in the back seems to have the worst service. I asked for a coke and got a glass 3/4 full of ice. I didn’t think it was a big deal since it was very slow so bartender wouldn’t be so busy when I needed a refill. Once food came out, the bartender disappeared. I waited patiently for a good 5-7 minutes thinking maybe they were busy. Once 10 minutes rolled around and hadn’t seen anyone behind the bar, I took my ice filled glass to the front bar for a refill. Once I went around the corner I saw the bartender and several other workers gathered on other side by entrance all talking among themselves. The bartender up front gave me a refill and I went back to my seat in the back. Shortly after that I noticed a worker who was sitting at a table behind us get up and talk with our bartender who was obviously now being very “short” with us. I asked for our check and will take business somewhere else. I wouldn’t have a problem with any of this if I wasn’t expected by these people for me to leave gratuity.

Had dinner at Drake's Hollywood last night and loved the vibe—beautiful ambiance and really great food. Service had a couple hiccups (one drink was forgotten and it was a little hard to flag someone down at times), but nothing that completely took away from the night. Overall, a lovely experience and I'd happily come back.

There are lots of things I would like to shout out in this review. First off is that our server, Billy, was awesome. Second, Drake's booths are high-rise but are extremely comfortable. Finally, our table had an appetizer, burgers, sushi, and sodas. Everything tasted great - and in particular I was thrilled that we could switch out mustard for a second cheese dish with the pretzels.

Drakes in Florence has an inviting fun welcoming atmosphere with amazing food to which is a combination that’s hard to come by. Friendly attentive staff especially Lindsey out waitress who was extremely attentive to us and provided great customer service. I had the breakfast burrito on Sunday which is when it’s offered (over the weekend). It was delicious and flavorful served with salsa and sour cream. I had the chicken littles sandwiches and my god flavorful batter and cooked extra crispy the way I like it! I know I ate a lot this day but, it was my second visit with family so we definitely needed to try the sushi made by Aqua Sushi. Fresh delicious teriyaki bowl and outstanding dynamite roll!!!

I looked up the menu and saw golden brown big pretzel sticks. We received dark brown crunchy sticks with super sharp points. The fries were more like potato chip texture and hurt my mouth. The waitress was flying all over and couldn't even get no Ice in my drink correct. Barely gave us any attention. His burger just crumbled all over and he said he's had better at fast food places. No idea why this place is so hyped up
