I arrived at Golden corral in Florence on Houston road.I cannot wear a mask due to my doctor's orders as I have a lung infection from wearing a mask and I have two skin infections on my face from wearing a mask which is pretty obvious when looking at my face.I was denied service by what you would call a maskhole.This location is serving food in a manner that is consistent with how food is served in a communist country or in one of America's finest prisons.If you want to experience the prison cafeteria lifestyle or communist cafeteria lifestyle go to this location it will be sure to satisfy all of your needs.I understand that the Kentucky State Democratic Governor has issued a masked mandate but that does not mean that businesses have to enforce it on into individuals.They're only required to have a sign and to make the suggestion they are not required to turn away customers.Businesses that follow governor's mandates to the "T"so to speak are playing a part as a weapon against all of our rights.Businesses that understand and post the warning and the mandate but yet still allow customers who disagree these are businesses we should be supporting not businesses like Golden corral who live under the wing of the governor these businesses have forgotten that without the people there wouldn't be a governor and they wouldn't have a business.If these businesses choose to take the side of the governor's instead of your service and your money well then I think enough has been said just in the last few sentences.

Shannon was my server and she was so kind! From the moment we sat down she was an absolute ray of sunshine interacting with all of the other tables and was just truly happy to see people enjoying themselves. So lovely, honestly. The fresh fruit was also spot on very delicious ripe strawberries. Always feels like such a blessing to be able to have your choice of all of it. Will be back at some point and hope to see Miss Shannon again.

The food was not as good as it used to be. Was disappointed in baked potatoes "dry,hard", cottage cheese "been filled over & over. 3/4 empty all that was mush, slime", teriyaki beef "was not wet with sauce like it had sat under the heat light for hours". The steak was delicious but they only gave me 1"wide by 2"long piece. Went back up & same size. I asked for bigger & the cook said can't do you have come back when finished with that. IM DISABLED!! What a inconvenience!Server was sweet & got me dinner rolls with honey butter. She was not allowed to, but she did. That was very sweet. She also helped take my plate to the table. She got a excellent tip for being a Caring Person. This establishment needs to realize it's a negative when you don't allow your employees to do a simple good deed. It actually makes the company look bad!!Parking: Do not park in Lowe's lot, you will get towed.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking right at door with ramps
It is OK, if you like buffet style. It’s not my favorite. Our server was fantastic. And there is no atmosphere. Just people everywhere, but we knew that going in.Vegetarian options: Salad, fruit and veggies. Don’t forget to try a roll. They are very good.Dietary restrictions: If you are on any kind of a diet and are low on willpower, I would not recommend eating here.

We took a large group of high school students here and the staff was very good. They handled it quite well, despite there being 50 people. The food was a pleasant surprise from the last time I had eaten at Golden Corral pre-covid.

I went up to the buffet counter 4 different times and filled my plates up with 3 to 5 different things at a time and it was ALL a big let down. It was all bad!Plus most of the food doesn't even have a sign telling you what it is. Which is moronic!The fountain drinks were 50/50 meaning that they either had enough syrup to taste the drink or they did NOT have enough syrup to taste the drink.Buffets like golden corral are just terrible anymore. Chinese buffets ARE better and SEEM to have more. Not wasting my time with this company again! Way overcharge for such substandard food and the plates are scratched up hard plastic garbage and all look dirty for being clean!Oh and the staff was nice that we encountered. But still do NOT waste your money here!
