We stopped on our way home this afternoon from Tennessee back to Michigan and was completely disappointed in the restaurant and staff itself, we waited about an hour for our food which wasn't the problem because I work in a restaurant and when your busy there are going to be longer waits but the staff took the anger out on each other to where they even took the fighting and foul language to the restrooms to where when our children went to go they couldn't even go in because they come across grown employees fighting in the bathroom. There was a group of teenagers waiting to be sat and everyone one of them was inside vaping and the employees just allowed them. The food itself was hot and fresh I will give them that for being overly stressed but something needs to be done with the immature behavior that was seen today and the way the front employees were talking to people coming in for their doordash and to go orders was very disrespectful I feel like with all the issues that were happening with that part a manager should have stepped in to straighten that whole situation out instead of employees raising their for at customers.

Food was so good, probably the best ihop experience ive had vs other locations. The crispiest hash browns ive gotten when ive asked for them extra crispy, the french toast was HUGE and they layered the fruit between them too 😍 my omelet was fresh and fluffy, no rubbery texture or anything. Erica was our server and she was great, checked in on us and made sure to grab us stuff when we needed it! 10/10

The server accused us of not paying for our food the last time we were there which isn’t true. Last time we ordered food, waited over an hour for it and left before we got our food which they said was ok for us to do. We asked for her manager to complain about how rude she was and about the accusation but manager failed to respond.

I’m not sure if it’s because we went at 6 o’clock on a Tuesday, but it was definitely not up to par. We waited 30 minutes at the front desk to be sat, we waited even longer for drinks. The food came out relatively quick, but the waitress was very busy and never gave us refills. My food came out with hair on it, but with wait times and everything I didn’t send it back I just took that food off my plate. I ate some of everything else. The bacon didn’t seemed cooked all the way through and today my daughter and I have food poisoning. Overall the waitress was nice, she was just busy and blew us off because we were a smaller party.

This place was so good back then. Now the place sucks and the service was rude and she forgot all of our orders 😒 l mean me and my family loved to come here but now I recommend not to.

So I met my friend here last weekend for brunch. We got seated at 1130 or so. Talked till 12 ordered and the server let us know the cooks were behind we said no problem.

One hour later. 1pm we get food to the table. Not all at one time and the ham on my friends plate burnt. She complained server apologized (server was great not her fault).

She gets manager to come over. As a manager I had to judge this interaction. She approached said I was ask to come to your table. (What) lol 😆 my friend said yes we waited an hour for food and when it gets here burnt ham, hashbrowns, not the right amount of French toast for what I ordered but I was hungry.

She offers to recook so my friend says why so I can wait another hour lol.
Friend says how about you just credit the ticket.

Customers shouldn't have to tell a manager how to fix that problem waiting an hour for food in a Ihop that should have been the first sentence she states.

Me and my husband loves ihop but today September 1,2025 there is a change with the food and service . My crispy chicken sandwich no avocado and the lettuce is wilted. We asked the server about the avocado and she said you still it? We asked also for a refill of sweet tea and we waited long for our refills.

Arguing could be heard from the kitchen staff and my youngest was asking all kinds of questions about that event. I ordered the steak omelet and it came out with 3 pieces of steak in it so I had it remade and it came out with unmelted cheese all over it and still they didn't put much meat at all in it. I ate a pancake my kids couldn't eat and had them take it off my bill. They had 2 new cooks and 1 experienced cook in the kitchen at the time.

This experience is harder to explain. All I have to say is if you are always angry then how can you know how your actions are affecting others around you?! The atmosphere created by staff was thick and heavy.
