I'm disappointed with Cliff @ Kona Ice East Lansing lack of follow-up on my request from last week. We discussed the event over the phone on Friday, 6/14, and I promptly emailed him regarding pricing as he suggested. Despite the message being delivered and following up this week, I have not received a response. No call, text or email.
According to Kona Ice Corporate, who we contacted on 6/21, Cliff has been behind on communications recently, which they acknowledged. However, today has passed without any reply from him. You would think that corporate would assist with the request however that did not happen.
Kona Ice in Holt has been much more responsive, however we're obligated to work with Cliff due to our zip code. In light of this situation, we will be seeking an alternative solution. If you have a time sensitive event, I would not contact Cliff with Kona Ice East Lansing.
Update: Cliff did call today 6/25/24. We do not want to do business with him any longer. It should not take 8 business days to hear back on such a simple request.

Horrible customer service. KONA ICE CINCINNATI. Very dismissive when teachers wanted to pay for larger cups and was very stern about only having 30 minutes to serve our entire school. Pulled up with a cart instead of a truck. Tigers blood has a very weird taste this time. We are set for Kona Ice every other week but if we will continue to be treated in this manner we will find a better vendor.

Came here as a student and got the full tour and company history. Awesome spot, great atmosphere and really yummy snacks! Didn’t order any shaved ice but did try some of their coffee out of the new trucks and that was really good! Lots of flavor options for both coffee and shaved ice, great for catering and just a good time over all :) have a great one yall

As a media company that serves thousands of local businesses, franchises are hard to support at times. Kona Ice is NOT one of them.
Kona has the BEST support from staff. While in the field shaving for the community, locals love KONAS. Kona franchisees love their communities.
They our a great member of the community. Best shaved ice favors around and I support them as they give back to community. Great staff always friendly.

Reported a franchise to corporate who was illegally parked in handicapped. Received lame excuses instead of action, and never heard from the local franchise. Apparently Kona Ice and Tony Lamb are not concerned about people with disabilities. I obtained Tony Lamb's email address, and emailed him as well, and he ignored it. One thing that people who illegally park in handicapped have in common s they always have an excuse why they parked there.
