I want to express my sincere disappointment with the host manager on duty on Christmas Eve. Upon arrival, we were told the wait time could be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. Because the restaurant was scheduled to close at 8:00 PM—exactly 1.5 hours from the time we were given the quote—I asked a reasonable question: would we even be served tonight?

The manager responded that it was a “50/50 chance” and that we were welcome to wait and “take the chance.”

This is unacceptable management and customer service, especially for returning customers on a holiday. No family should be asked to gamble on whether they will be served dinner on Christmas Eve. A competent manager would provide clear guidance and either manage the wait list responsibly or respectfully turn guests away. Leaving customers in limbo is careless, disrespectful of their time, and shows a complete lack of leadership.

I would much rather be told no than be encouraged to risk ruining a family holiday meal. This experience alone is enough to make me seriously reconsider returning.

Great dinner at LongHorn Steakhouse tonight. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken and the chopped steak were both on point—flavorful, cooked perfectly, and absolutely worth the calories. Our friends placed an online order for pickup before we left, and it was ready exactly when it was supposed to be (love when that actually happens). Great food, smooth pickup, and zero complaints—always a win.

We visited this LongHorn last night for my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the host made a face when she saw our party of 8. She went to get the manager, who informed us there would be about a 20-30 minute wait. That wait time didn’t seem unreasonable to us, but it was made to feel like a major inconvenience. Looking back, we probably should have left, but we stayed to celebrate the birthday.

Once seated, the service continued to feel rushed and unwelcoming. Our server spoke very quickly, hurried us through drink orders, and generally gave the impression that our table was a bother rather than guests. Our bill was around $300, and while we still tipped appropriately, the level of service did not match the expectations we had for LongHorn.

This was disappointing, especially since we’ve had consistently better experiences at Texas Roadhouse, which we usually choose. I hope this location can improve how larger parties are greeted and treated, because the attitude made what should have been a special night feel uncomfortable.

I honestly don’t know how they thought this was acceptable to serve. Flabby, no sear, and tons of fat on this steak. All our food came out at the same time & the caesar salad was drowning in dressing. Bad experience.
