This particular time I was going through alot nothing good seemed to exist too me at the time see, it was a few years ago, I was unemployed (as I was caring for my disabled grandfather) my Grandfather just passed away, my father had just gone through his first bipolar episode a few months prior and going through his second one again because his father just passed which causes the body all kinds of problems which is what triggered his second long term episode. And it was just a lot. Then, this particular day, our car broke down, we had no food at home, I was desperately searching for a Job, my Son was hungry and I had exhausted every single option I could have had. Including putting a request for help on Facebook.
I wish I remembered the date and time and the person's name, I'm almost 85% sure they were Managment. But at the time I didn't want someone to get into trouble for giving someone food for free so I didn't say anything at all at the time and in a Way I'm glad I didn't because at the time with my luck theyd probably have been fired. I also know around the same time i had a driver through door dash pick my order up from there that happened to be a friend that was staying with us, he didn't tell us he was picking it up but he said you wouldn't believe what they told me, they said that they won't deliver to your address anymore because you all hardly ever tip. (This isn't the same night I'm speaking about originally so don't take this as a negative comment) Remind you, my fiance and I had just moved into this apartment and prior to that my father and grandfather lived here alone for 7 years. My Grandfather always tipped, wether they got the tip or not depended on who answered the door to pay of that makes since my dad didn't believe tipping was necessary because he has literally never worked in the customer service industry and is oblivious to the fact that they only make so much an actual paycheck and live off of tips, seriously. I have gone off on him multiple times Because of it I believe he's finally got the point as indeed see him tipping drivers alot more than he ever did before lol back to that particular day, I called up to papa John's because I was calling around asking different places if there was anything at all that they could do to help us with food I had called about 6 places at the time. No one and I mean no one even batted an eye. I didn't even finish my sentence a few times before they told me no or just hung up.
Reminder we didn't have a car either, no family could help us, and we live on Mt. Zion Rd. And at the time there were 0 side walks on mt. Zion especially by wood springs apartments. The sidewalks are finally starting to show up now but then, it was impossible lol Actually they had just started the construction.
My last call was to Papa Johns I had like 10$ in my account and I was asking for enough food to feed 4 people because we had nothing and we were starving. This manager took my order, took care of the payment and delivered it personally. And I seriously wish I could remember when it was i just know the time frame of the time of when it happened was around August of 2021. I appreciate this person more than they'll ever know because of what they did for us. I seriously do thank you thank you thank you. You helped us so much that night! I hope and pray you get just as much as you gave us that night!

Ordered pizza for delivery. Come to find out that Papa John's has partnered with Door Dash for their deliveries. That is all hunky dory unless the door dash driver picks up your pizza and makes 4 stops along the way resulting in a cold pizza being delivered! NOT ordering delivery from them anymore!

So I ordered a pizza that is definitely not typical to the menu. Some would even say it's a pain in the rump to make. However this Papa John's (across from Bobby Mackeys and the Legion) made it absolutely perfectly fantastic. Literally everything was done just right and I was absolutely amazed which is why I tipped them accordingly because everybody involved deserved it. So I don't know about everybody else's experience, but for a fact my experience was phenomenal and I appreciate everything they did to make literally the perfect Pizza that can be a pain in the rump to others.. so thank y'all very much!!!!

I called immediately after placing the order and asked if they kindly could place all the EXTRA sauces I'm paying for to not be placed in the pizza or the bag. We do not want them to melt and since these are extras I'm paying for that shouldn't be a difficult customer service request. Yet her response was "well I'll try" 🤔 You'll try? You'll try to comply with a customer request that they have to pay for? I've made this request dozens of times at all different Papa Johns across the country and this is the VERY FIRST TIME I've ever had a manager tell me "we'll try" Not to mention her tone was very much like I just ruined her day or rained on her parade lol sorry to bother you lady!
This is the worst papa John’s I have ever known and it makes me so sad because I love papa John’s. I even received free cheese bread today because I spoke up about my last order and from the looks this one I really think they are trying to be funny. If you are hungry on god, go to the next papa John’s because know better than to waste your money here and I am so serious. Just settle for a biggie bag or 2 before thinking of coming to this location because it’s that bad.

This is the first time I've ever had to leave a negative review for Papa John's in. Florence, Kentucky. But I'm sitting here with a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old and we're waiting on pizza and I spent $42 on pizza for these kids and and us and all I get is lip service when I call the restaurant. And the driver passed us up to go drive and deliver somewhere else and I was told it would be here in 4 minutes and here it's been at least 15 minutes now since I got that first notice and he's not even close. I wish I could take my tip back because this is the worst service ever. I haven't even gotten the food yet but since I've had to be disrespected as a customer as far as I'm concerned the food is going to be a negative. Took a total of 45 minutes plus before the pizza was delivered. I don't think I'll ever order from there again this is ridiculous. And now that it is here after 45 minutes a pizza is ice cold and the driver acted like he had some kind of sludge in his bloodstream and had no sense of urgency in getting this pizza here on time. This is my last order from Papa John's and other people should take notice that this restaurant failed the customer in more ways than one.
