DEFINITELY not worth the money. I could eat a full course meal at a Cheddar's restaurant for less money, and better food. It's not just this location - I won't waste my money at any location of Steak & Shake.

What happened? This place was decent but now McDonald's is better. Went through the drive thru today. The fries were old. The drink was more ice than drink. The burger was one of the worst burgers I have ever tasted.

Everytime I order here the servers are fantastic and super friendly.
Food is great prices are decent. Though what really caught my eye was the older male manager with glasses. He had a positive attitude, he was so kind, everything about him was upbeat. I especially loved how he talked to all the young men working. When he asked them to do something he was polite about it and said please. He was training another young boy to clean the dining room. I love that he was teaching him and not having some other employee teach him. This place is rocking it for a fast food joint

Very disorganized. Good people. Nice-ish staff. But steak and shake itself is no longer that great and more expensive than Freddy's which honestly tastes like steak and shake used to. You place your order yourself at a kiosk there's no other option, not even sure why you can dine in at this point. When you get your order you have to take your receipt and scan a QR code to show them you've received your order. Crazy. Inconvenient, bad system update. All of them are like this now.

They don't have cottage cheese anymore. 😪 its all done by computers now when ordering inside. Hate it. I like talking to ppl. Also tried to get extra sauce on my burger put it in computer and didn't get it. Also when u order extra sauce each thing costs 50 cents... it's crazy for a little cup.

Today is the second visit to Steak n Shake that our family has made in the last month. It's been years since we ate here because, years ago, this place was a bit of a dump and the staff was not anything to write home about - it was sketchy! Now the staff is polite and the food is very good. The main reason we came after so many years was to try the new tallow fries since tallow is such a healthy option - they're delicious! The burgers were fresh and done just right. I've missed Steak and Shake and glad it's doing better than it had been in the past. We also visited the restroom which was clean. The dining room seemed clean as well but we did drive thru so I didn't receive service there. The reason I give 4 stars is because its still fast food. I would pick this place over McDonald's, Wendy's and even Culvers, any day. It kind of reminds me of the beef version of Chick-fil-A.
