We were visiting the Florence area for 3 days & found this place online when trying to find pet friendly restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our meals so much that we ended up eating here 2 of the 3 days.. I got their Fish & Chips both days (no complaints) & their hush puppies are some of the best I've ever had. Will definitely stop here again the next time we're in the area.

My wife and I have been customers at this restaurant/bar for years. Last night my wife had a question regarding a food order and the female owner was extremely rude about it. Very arrogant and cocky about the fact she owns a bar. The previous owners would never have treated anybody the way she did. We will never return and will not recommend anybody to this place.

My husband and I have been coming here since 2018 before the current owners and when it was the Brass Tap. We came tonight to enjoy some food and drinks and I ordered shrimp tacos. Every time I order this meal, I specifically ask for un-breaded shrimp. Every time before tonight, this has not been an issue. My meal came out with breaded shrimp so I politely asked for them to take it back. The waitress (who was amazing, btw) took it back for me, but a few mins later one of the owners came back out with the plate saying they’ve never made shrimp tacos blackened and they can’t do it. She was extremely rude and disrespectful and when I told her I’ve always gotten it this way, she said “well, I’ve owned this place for 2.5 years and have never done that.” So, point is, the owners are extremely disrespectful and don’t care about their customers’ requests. In fact, it seems they take offense to simple requests and like to throw around that they own the place when a customer is actively spending money here.And, what I think is actually the issue, is that they don’t have fresh shrimp and only have frozen breaded shrimp now which is why they refused to do blackened shrimp. So, 859 doesn’t use fresh food. Only frozen.

Brussel sprouts were Amazing. As were the fish/shrimp tacos (859 sauce was unique and awesome) and hamburgers. Nachos and buffalo chicken dip, not so much. Both were flavorless. Buffalo dip had no Buffalo sauce flavor. Bourbon sauce on nachos should never be a combo. Chicken on both had no flavor. Tasted like it had been boiled. They do have a great staff!

This is the go to for happy hour with better than average bar food. Bourbon burger and the nachos with the bourbon glaze are outstanding. Good selection of beers and bourbon.
859 has the best Old Fashioned around, food is good too.

If you haven't tried it, you must! Everything is amazing here. The food, staff and atmosphere are perfect for a fun night out in a relaxed environment with absolutely delicious food!Vegetarian options: I believe every dish had a vegetarian option....but maybe don't quote me on that one.
Went during lunch and it wasn't crowded at all. Waitress was fine. Food was FANTASTIC. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to family and friends. We WILL be going back soon.
