So this is a DFAC on Fort Knox, is it the best? No but it does it's job. The ladies who are there on the weekends are very nice and helpful and the food is fresh and served with a smile. I like and enjoy that I can bag up my food and take it back to my barracks room as well as put cereal, bread and peanut butter and jelly And take it all back home with me.

After twenty plus years chow halls are all the same. I've been in dining facilities managed by all four branches including ones on ships out at sea. Some are better than others, but even the best ones on Air Force bases are trying to prepare meals for service members on a high school budget. Yo this day I refuse to eat chili-Mac even when my wife makes it and the chow hall is the only place I know of that mixes corn and lima beans. I gave five stars because of the staff.
