Wow! The last time I came here which was over a year ago it was the same. Very gross and sticky floor, tables are dirty, and the coleslaw tastes like it has sat for a few months.
Never again and I hope nobody else ever comes here, it is a disaster and possibly needs board of health to come check it out! Gross

Guthrie’s is very similar to reading Caines but Guthrie’s fries are cooked better and thicker. I’d say it comes down to price over all. Which ever is the lesser priced go for. Guthrie’s in the lead at the moment. This location is fast, friendly, and consistent.

Update May 2025: This place is so much better than Raising Caine's! The quality of their chicken is a 9 out of 10. (Unlike Raising Caine's who's quality has went downhill over the last couple of years)

One of the stickiest floors I’ve ever walked on… Tables were not cleaned. Carpet was filthy and the bathroom was even more disgusting than the dining room. Our chicken fingers tasted old like they’ve used the same oil over and over again, The coleslaw was sour tasting or very heavy vinegar. The food was not cheap…And it took way too long to get our food because we were the only ones in there , they definitely cater to the drive-through! Very disappointed and will probably never ever go back to that location.

Very poor service the lady was rude she went out of her way to be disrespectful she kept deliberately getting my order wrong she kept trying to argue with me about her own mistakes she shouldn’t be around anyone’s food I’m bringing my order back tomorrow to get my money back for the disrespect she also gave us very small chicken tenders deliberately

Food was ok. But Bathroom floor had obviously not been cleaned for years. My feet are still sticky on the bottom. And there was not even one drop off soap in the dispenser. Restaurant floor and tables also appeared that they needed to be clean. We were the only people in the restaurant.

I am not from NKY. When I moved here, I never had Guthries. Decided, to give it a try almost a year ago and this was location. Fell in love with the place, because it was a valuable competitor against Canes. Presently, at least this location, the food is awful. You get these pieces of chicken that are majority breading and hard. I thought I had just got a bad order one time but then it happened again. It’s used to be delicious. Now, I don’t know what has changed but as you can tell from the other reviews, I am not the only one.

TERRIBLE! If you like your fries reheated in the grease then eat here! I’ve worked fast food and know what double , double fried food looks like. Disgusting! Greasy af from them reheating the chicken and fries in the fryer. Zero stars if I could

I spent over $30 at Guthrie’s for 16 chicken tenders and got completely ripped off. Strip away the breading and you’re left with barely half a pound of chicken. The portions are pitiful for that price. This place charges way too much for garbage food. Don’t waste your money here.
