Awful, old tasting food. Fries taste like they have been sitting out and microwaved. Chicken was hard and again tastes like it had been sitting out. So disappointed.

The food was not fresh at all. I was surprised that it was ready in about 2 minutes and that was because it had been sitting for hours. The coleslaw had a gray tint. I didn’t even try it. The chicken was rubbery and hard to bite through. We basically threw away $32 worth of food. We should have stuck with City Bird in Crestview Hills.

Pretty sad I just paid 30 dollars for mini pieces of chicken and couldn't even get a side of bread this franchise in thee biggest rip off ever. Canes for the win next time

7/6/25 - 2:26p Don’t waste your money here. Food was not fresh at all, none of it - chicken, fries and bread were all dried out and old. Wasted $30. My kids won’t even eat the fries! Frustrating and disappointing. Customers expect fresh and hot food. We pay for that! Idc about your waste costs, manage how much your team is cooking during down times vs peak times and that solves your waste/ inventory variances. Follow hot hold times and dispose of the product when that timer expires. Don’t serve food you wouldn’t even want to eat. Also, change your soda bags, the drinks were awful too. There are so many competitors that sell chicken… Guthries won’t last serving this kind of food to customers. We will stick to other chicken places in the future!

Wow! The last time I came here which was over a year ago it was the same. Very gross and sticky floor, tables are dirty, and the coleslaw tastes like it has sat for a few months.
Never again and I hope nobody else ever comes here, it is a disaster and possibly needs board of health to come check it out! Gross

Guthrie’s is very similar to reading Caines but Guthrie’s fries are cooked better and thicker. I’d say it comes down to price over all. Which ever is the lesser priced go for. Guthrie’s in the lead at the moment. This location is fast, friendly, and consistent.

Update May 2025: This place is so much better than Raising Caine's! The quality of their chicken is a 9 out of 10. (Unlike Raising Caine's who's quality has went downhill over the last couple of years)

this location is an embarrassment. i truly don’t know how they’re still in business. the food quality is ALWAYS awful…. the food is never fresh. i can’t even eat my food bc it’s literally hard as a rock and cold lmao
One of the stickiest floors I’ve ever walked on… Tables were not cleaned. Carpet was filthy and the bathroom was even more disgusting than the dining room. Our chicken fingers tasted old like they’ve used the same oil over and over again, The coleslaw was sour tasting or very heavy vinegar. The food was not cheap…And it took way too long to get our food because we were the only ones in there , they definitely cater to the drive-through! Very disappointed and will probably never ever go back to that location.

Very poor service the lady was rude she went out of her way to be disrespectful she kept deliberately getting my order wrong she kept trying to argue with me about her own mistakes she shouldn’t be around anyone’s food I’m bringing my order back tomorrow to get my money back for the disrespect she also gave us very small chicken tenders deliberately
