Don’t go towards anywhere closing time, it’s a bunch of teenagers who don’t care about food quality or customer service. Served me cold fries and toast and what looked like scrap chicken tenders. I never have problems at this or any other guthries but this location tends too not care about anything within the last hour and a half of being open.

The meal it self was good nothing special but with my meal I was supposed to get two extra pieces of toast 3 extra sauce cups and a gallon of sweet tea. I did not get any of this and when I called the store I got sent straight to voice mail. Not planning on coming back here anytime soon.

Just spent 30$ for some shrunk popcorn chicken that tastes like it’s been sitting for about a year. Worst experience ever! (It looks bigger in the picture)

Food is always hot and crispy. We use the daycare next door, which makes Guthrie’s a pretty nice location for a busy evening!

We got The Box and the chicken strips were crispy, fries were hot and slaw were all very good. I would go back.

Disappointed last week, got two buckets arcane drive thru, Took forever and when we got them to the football party they were burnt, dry and not good! All in attendance commented the same.

I wanted to try something other than canes and something closer to where I live and worst mistake I could've ever made. They gave me cookies and cream custard instead of the chocolate I asked for even stated on my receipt chocolate. They didn't give me all the extra sauces I had paid for. Forgot my coleslaw and the chicken had a taste as if it wasn't cooked all the way. I came through their drive thru 3 separate times so I could get everything I was supposed to have, I don't know if I want to come back canes might be better they don't mess anything up. I was counting on trying something new for the family this was the worst fast food experience I have had in years.

Spent my entire lunch break waiting in the drive thru. Didn’t even get a chance to pay. Glad I wasted my break and didn’t get a chance to eat.

Ordered $40 dollars worth of chicken that was suppose to come with 4 sauces and received none. So no one really ended up eating the food.Messaged the store to let them know and never heard back after 4 weeks so far. This was my first time offering here and will not order again.

Fries were soggy, and the chicken tenders were good. They sell pup cups for $2.50 if they remember to give it to you. We had to go back and pick it up with no apologies for them forgetting our item. It's not worth the$$. Next time, Raising Canes instead.

We wanted to try Guthrie’s since we heard they would soon be adding a location in Independence near our home. The menu and options are similar to Raising Cane’s. We went with the snack box, and added a Texas toast at the employees suggestion. The menu and window flair boast of the fresh brewed tea. I grew up in the south and love iced tea, so we got a couple of iced teas as well. The chicken was good, flavorful and fresh, the fries were good, the dipping sauce is very similar to Cane’s sauce which is a good thing. I found the Texas toast to be too greasy and also tasted a bit burnt. Cane’s wins there. The worst part was the tea, both our teas tasted sour and had the nasty turned tea taste to them, they also had so little ice it had melted within a minute of driving away. As a tea drinker it’s like rolling dice, you never know what you’re going to get, especially the further north you go. I think a lot of places serve poor quality tea because while they brew fresh tea they then just pour it into a container containing old spoiled tea, ruining the whole batch. Or they just don’t make any fresh and keep serving old spoiled tea. One of these was the case here at Guthrie’s. The nasty tea kind of soured the whole experience, pun intended. If you’re going to offer iced tea and claim it’s fresh brewed and amazing then it should not taste sour, stale and old. If you want to compete with Cane’s then you should know their tea is fresh and perfect every time!

overpriced, small portions.. should be like a 5 piece minimum as they are like chicken nugget size tenders.
