I love this Hot heads. It's my favorite one. It's the only one that gives you a fair portion of food anymore. The staff is almost always on top of their game. However I have one complaint. The pop machine is the most disgusting thing in a restaurant. It looks as if it's never been cleaned. I've never seen it clean since I started going there 5 years ago. I still use it. But it reallt needs cleaned. When I worked at a restaurant 25 years ago we have to clean the pop machine every night. I thought it was a board of health rule. Maybe it's changed. But please clean it.... I'm not even a germaphobe and I think it gross. I can't imagine how others feel. I know it's probably a pain in the butt to clean. But it definitely needs done. I'm surprised the board of health has not made you clean it yet.

Been coming here for years, at least once a week. The food is always great however the older lady (I assume the manger has rubbed me the wrong way more than once.) she is the only one that has charged me for a side of sauce, or will not take my coupons. (The other employees are glad to) Today I had a $2 coupon over $10. My total was $10.55 and she said oh we can’t accept this because it has to be $10 before tax. I was at $9.95…it never says anything on the coupon about that. And the coupons don’t have a barcode so all they do is take it off themselves. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars a year at this place you would think she could make my total $10 or just take it off like any other employee has done in the past. Like I said, food is great and all the other employees are great but she has made me not want to come back.

I don't know why the protein always seems to be lukewarm/cold when I go to Hot Head. And for $18 with chips and a drink? I think I'd rather just get authentic Mexican in the future.

I enjoy that they have a lot more sauces and topping options than most of their competitors which is the main reason I end up going to hot head. There always seems to be a fluctuating amount of food in a bowl when you order take out vs dining in. There seems to be less in the take out bowl. I wish that it was consistent with the dining in portion.

I came all the way from Cincinnati to this hotheads here in Fort Wright (i’m literally sitting in front of the restaurant doing the review), because the service is usually so good and every time I come in, I leave a tip, but this evening, the young man, making the bowls messed up the tip for the rest of the crew. Not only was he rude to me about sauces that I asked for while I was ordering my bowls, but he was also rude to the young man who was ringing up my food. If I could have tipped the guy at the register and just him, I would’ve done that but my daughter used to work at a place similar to that and I know that that’s not how it goes so I just took my food and left but I won’t be back!!
