Super noisy for dinner. Rack of lamb was ordered medium rare and came out super dead at well done (ruined). The filet was tougher than a waffle house steak. Oysters tasted great but weren't cleaned properly ( chunks of shell all in them). Server was super friendly and professional.

We visited Walt’s last night for our 15th wedding anniversary. Our first impression was that the place was noisy and overcrowded. They seated us at a table for two that was jammed in between three large parties. I could barely pull my chair out to sit down. Next, I couldn’t understand our server because it was so loud. Then came the main course… I had an Alfredo dish with a piece of someone’s hair wrapped in it. I completely understand that these things happen in the industry. I was not mad in the least. The server was very apologetic, took it away, and brought me something to snack on while I waited for my food while my husband ate. The server also gave me a free dessert. What was pretty upsetting was that they didn’t take the hairy Alfredo off of our bill. I didn't ask them to, but I thought they might all things considering. Mistakes happen, but would I go back...NO. Then we went out to the parking lot to get in our car. Someone parked so close we couldn't get in. Is that their fault? No, but the parking is less than par. I gave one star because our server (couldn't hear his name) was great. I definitely won't be back for any special occasions.

Parking: None of the 4 handicapped spots were available but numerous valet parking spots were for sale ($5). A handicap ramp led to a door that was locked due to a private party. Great place IF YOU'RE NOT HANDICAPPED!

This restaurant came highly recommended and seems popular. However, my lobster bisque tasted fishy (although the server removed this from my bill with no complaint), my mashed potatoes were cool, and the breading on the fried shrimp was not crispy. I definitely give our server a 5 star rating though for patience, good food descriptions, and willingly participating in a dessert joke on a friend. A definite 5 also for the salted rye bread.
Our 10th wedding anniversary was last Friday, 9/20/24, and I can not imagine a better way to have celebrated than the evening we spent here. From the low-lit, rustic atmosphere to the comfy chairs, you are encouraged to relax and unwind from the time you walk through the doors - just what we needed after our long days at work. The crab cake appetizer and both meals (pork chop for me, Trifecta burger for Hubs) were absolutely divine, and fabulous service was provided by the very entertaining Tim and his assistant, whose name I sadly am unable to recall a week later. I can say he was a fine young man who rolled right along with the flow of things and kept pace with Tim like a seasoned pro! We thoroughly enjoyed everything, and we will definitely be back soon!!
