Arandas Mexican Restaurant

I forgot to grab my grandchild’s bright pink sippy cup tonight when we were leaving Arandas. I went back about an hour later to get it. I reminded them where we sat. The lady up front and the guy who cleaned the table both told me they never saw it. It was BRIGHT PINK. I can only assume that they threw it away thinking no one would come back to claim it. And if they had just told me that, I could understand. But they lied about it. To my face. There’s no excuse for that. It wasn’t a big deal if it had gotten tossed. And I even told them that. But they chose instead to lie. So now I’ll never go back there and I can’t recommend them to anybody. They’re dishonest. I don’t patronize dishonesty. What a shame they are that way.

The food is delicious and the service can not be beat. It’s our favorite place to eat.

I order the Burritos, typicos. Not sure that's spelled correctly but they are steak tips very tender easy to chewy smothers in a white quest sauce with rice beans lettuce and tomatoes on the side and it is delicious I would highly recommend last time my daughter took me and she got regular steak burritos and I couldn't keep her out of mine they also have grea6 sweet tea and strawberry lemonade and fast perfect service keep it up!!!

Vegetarian options: I'm sure they do have these options, but I am blind and have trouble seeing every option they have

Dietary restrictions: If it's not on the menu, I'm sure one of the servers or the owners would be happy to let you know what you need to know

Parking: Plenty of paking and large spaces

Kid-friendliness: I was fortunate enough to have a birthday celebration there I was put in a Sombrero sang to and was given fried ice cream desert that I had never tried and it was delicious so I'm sure a kid would really enjoy it as well

Wheelchair accessibility: Large area in front to pull up to unload equipment ot someone who needs assistance

So, this was a tough review, as I always try and promote small businesses. I was really between a 3 and a 4, but tried to give them the "maybe it was an off day." The chips were hard and no salt. The good news - the queso was great! The not so good- the fajitas came out - no sizzle, hardly any peppers and onions, and the steak and chicken were both pretty tough. I did love that you get the little taco bowl with guac, s cream, and a bit of lettuce to add to your fajitas. ?
I have had better food here, so we will try the next time for it to be better.

The food was just okay and our waiter was not friendly at all.

Was a awful dinner.Food wasn't good and the servers were rude.We didn't leave a tip they didn't deserve ?

Food tasted awful, we complained about it and the manager asked me where I was from I said right here from Frankfort KY. She said I have never seen you before, I said Iv never seen you before either. She then huffed and puffed and gave us a refund and told us it wasn’t worth 10 bucks to argue about it. Overall the service was slow, I sit there for 15 min before I was asked if I wanted a drink. I’m not one to usually complain but with the poor service and the awful tasting steak and the manager trying to argue with me, I won’t be going back.

Good food. They just play roulette with the prices of their pick up orders. Same items one day is $22, the next $26, the next $36. For the exact same items, when asked for a reciept, the owner said no. Not very trustworthy imo.

amazing food, great service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.
