“Wonderful place to stop, hang out and have some great craft beer. Make it a point to stop in and enjoy this place. There seems to be something going on almost every night. The folks are really friendly and the beer is really good. Plenty of outdoor seating with a nice outdoor deck, shaded picnic tables, and plenty of indoor seating.”

“I had my birthday retirement ceremonial dinner and entertainment there. The space was perfect size to seat at least 100 comfortable and it was easy to create an elegant affair. The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. My event required the use of all the amenities
a banquet room, cocktail lounge, sound system for the band, and the viewing monitors throughout to see PowerPoint presentations are awesome, and the pricing is much lower considering all the venue has to offer.”

“This young lady is working towards a bright future in the food industry. She's got the best seafood boil bags in central Kentucky hands down. I got the Cajun mild.... It was pure perfection. One crab claw, the equivalent of a whole pack of 2 link smoked sausage, 1.5 whole potatoes and several lemons with everything perfectly seasoned. I may have gotten shrimp too. I think I did once, and not the second time. No reason other than I forgot lol. These bags are worth every penny in value and especially flavor. Don't hesitate. The more you order the more she can expand her business and afford to be open. She's a one woman operation! Give her business! BOB! WOB! MOB! MWOB!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better location, staff, service, food and space for my 45th Birthday celebration. The back room was set up prior to us arriving, we had our personal server all night for the room, drinks were amazing, food was out of this world the private area for my friends and I just to enjoy the moment was priceless. The owner and Chef visited our area to make sure everything was fantastic. To top it off the Strawberry Cake was a dream. It was so lite, creamy and and amazing strawberry flavor. Best birthday Cake. The night did not disappoint. We will return very soon. Appreciated the atmosphere for such a great night. Great job John and staff, you truly hit this one out of the park for my guest and I. “Firehouse subs is still my number one, but I really enjoy Penn Station. My husband and i got dinner there, for 2 people it's not super cheap, but if i wanted bad cheap sandwiches, i would go to Subway lol. Every sandwich I've tried is really good, I get 2 cheese sauce cups to dip my fries in. I do wish they didn't get so dark, but still good. Sometimes the people act like they don't want to serve you, and sometimes they are really nice. They are never super rude or anything, just going through the motions, no smile, low energy, things like that.”

“Absolutely amazing little place. They have pizza and appetizers, alongside a local market where you can shop local farmers and creators goods. We were in town for the bourbon trail, but I tend to rely on Yelp and Google reviews to help me find places to eat. Y'all did not let me down! The pizza was absolutely amazing, with fresh toppings, and just the perfect crust. Then on the bottom, with a little poof crust at the edges. I was greeted by Kayla, who is very friendly and easily recognized I had never been in before, lol! She walked me through how to order, and was just very kind. We tried the carnivore, because who doesn't love an all meat pizza? There's plenty of picnic tables for seating, and there's also a really pretty outdoor area where they have flowers and more tables. I will 100% return when back in the area in the fall, and I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try. We saw some people getting wings as we were finishing up, and those looked amazing too!”

“My favorite restaurant in Frankfort! I'm working my way through the menu and it's all been delicious, thus far. Super baleadas and plantains are the things to beat. Also the pasta special from Valentine's Day needs to make appearances a lot more often. It's divine! Service is always exemplary. I've recommended it to all my friends for if/when they go to Frankfort.”

“Great place to eat. We enjoyed our meal at the outside eating area. Beautiful weather to be outside. I ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and pinto beans with cornbread. My wife enjoyed her taco salad. This restaurant is the first place we eat when we move to Frankfort Kentucky. This was our second visit. Food was great just like the first time. We enjoy and love how close things are from our home.

“I was hesitant to try this place because I'd been a loyal customer of another Mexican restaurant that closed a few months ago. Tonight I was really craving good Mexican food, so I finally decided to give it a shot... I'm so glad I did!

The service was fast and attentive, the portions were huge, and the food came out fresh and quickly. We ordered the Double Fajitas Jalisco and still had enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The salsa was some of the best I've had around here, too.

Her customer service was top notch with saving my fiance slices of the pizza she ordered because her spinach chicken Alfredo was disappearing before we could get to it !!!! Beyond that the pizza was great quality and I had 9 different types of pizza and loved everything , the pastas and salad bar didnt cut any corners or pull any punches !!!! I had lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, extra mayo and the Juice on mine and my husband added lettuce tomatoes, jalapeños and mayo on his. I didn’t get any picture’s because we were both too busy eating. “While in town for a wor conference we decided to celebrate a birthday at Rose's and we are so glad we did. Taylor the bartender was busy but never lost her smile and friendly demeanor. The patrons were friendly and helped sign happy birthday to my coworker. The Nashville based Olin humored our birthday request with an amazing Nashville styled rendition of happy birthday. Even the bartender sang a song and can she sing. Amazing talent what a lucky night to visit. If you haven't sat out on the wrap around deck patio with nice wrought iron tables and chairs you need to give it a sit so peaceful and a cool breeze. I have owned to pubs and I can say I highly recommend this place. The vibe is laid back not judgemental and the bartender was super. She knew creative drinks/shots and the bottom fill beer taps made me jealous as all get out. Only suggestion was they need a better sound system (speakers). We had Rockville speakers under the cost of an elegant dinner you have a whomping system. When in Frankfort KY don't miss a chance to visit Rose's and meet Taylor!”

“Our office worked 2 separate large legislative events (breakfast and lunch) and I just want to give Anna, Vincent, and the rest of the staff their flowers for their amazing work. These were not easy tasks for them, including having to order more food at a moments notice due to higher than expected turnout. “This may be the very best Capatin D's in America. I've been to different parts of the country and always loved Captain D's but sometimes the food isn't great or the workers don't seem to care about the food they serve. Not her.
Everyone was very nice and courteous. The service was very fast even though the restaurant was very busy at lunch on Friday.
The fish was cooked perfectly and not greasy or with old oil.

BTW they sell their seasoning now; definitely going to combine that with my seasoned flour next time to see how it does. The wait was short as well, about 10 minutes and the food came out hot and fresh. You'll of course need salt and pepper for your mac n cheese but that's normal given some people can't have too much salt. Try the blackberry cobbler.”
