Tonight, we celebrated my husband’s birthday, and everything was flawless from start to finish. ❤️ Now let’s talk about the bread basket… OH. MY. GOODNESS. 🥖 Hands down the best sourdough I’ve ever had from a restaurant... fresh, flavorful, and worth the visit all by itself. I highly recommend starting your meal with it! Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want an unforgettable dinner… Limewater is a must! 10/10 🙌”

“Won't be able to say enough positive things about this place. I stopped in town on a drive through and sought this place out because of their menu. The owner was so friendly, the guys at the bar included me in conversation like I was one of them, the beer is fantastic and who doesn't like a hotdog menu?

It is so warm and inviting inside even during the snowstorm. The building has a great wood siding and roof construction, the floor is classic hardwood with a fantastic mosaic with the founders name. Behind the bar it's classic and simple. Beer, bourbon, and hotdogs. Only what's needed and nothing. Special. They know what they're about. 11/10 would recommend.”

“If possible, go during lunch, you'll save about 40 bucks. The food overall is amazing but my husband and I stopped in for lunch, got similar portions that we would get for dinner and then got dessert and it came out to 60 and some change. When we do that for dinner it's about 130 give or take! Great service,always clean, bread and butter always comes out fresh and my steak( which I enjoy med well) always come out perfect and juicy in the best way. Try the parmesean crust on either the steak or the chicken it's amazing both ways. The rice is cooked to perfection, the Brussels sprouts are BEYOND delicious, the mash potatoes are creamy and smooth and can I take a moment to talk about the lava cake?.......Dawling......like buttah!!!!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better location, staff, service, food and space for my 45th Birthday celebration. The back room was set up prior to us arriving, we had our personal server all night for the room, drinks were amazing, food was out of this world the private area for my friends and I just to enjoy the moment was priceless. The owner and Chef visited our area to make sure everything was fantastic. To top it off the Strawberry Cake was a dream. It was so lite, creamy and and amazing strawberry flavor. Best birthday Cake. The night did not disappoint. We will return very soon. Appreciated the atmosphere for such a great night. Great job John and staff, you truly hit this one out of the park for my guest and I. “Applebees is one of the places that stays open late. The staff is always pleasant, the food is great with so much selection. I work late and it’s so great to get yummy food when it’s later in the evening. I have called in food 30 minutes prior to their closing and the staff is still kind and eager to take my order even after they have had a very long day. I have absolutely no idea why they closed their location in Middletown, KY. I LOVE THEM. Wonderful staff at Applebees in Frankfort, KY.”

Also the pasta special from Valentine's Day needs to make appearances a lot more often. It's divine! Service is always exemplary. “First time going and what a nice little place. Very laid back, nice menu options,prices were spot on for sushi. Only thing I could say is I wish it had real wasabi . ( most restaurants dont unfortunately) Would definitely recommend trying this out! Dine in or take out.”

“My husband and I were staying at the St. Clair hotel above the Howser on vacation for our anniversary. I can’t speak about the food because we only had cocktails. The bartenders there are so sweet! We went back a second night into the speakeasy. Megan was the bartender both times we visited. It was her first week on the job and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the Frankfort area and she made a great old fashioned! Check this place out if you’re in the area!”

“Was heading home from a day full of archery tournaments from lousiville. headed home to Richmond. stopped there for a bjte and I'm telling you it was swrioisly the best. ordered a few different items. the street corn was chefs kiss. the locos nachos 😋 was heaven. ordered a lengua burrito and some lengua tacos as well but they haven't been tried yet but I can only imagine how amazing. I would drive back the hour just to eat here again.”

“While in town for a wor conference we decided to celebrate a birthday at Rose's and we are so glad we did. Taylor the bartender was busy but never lost her smile and friendly demeanor. The patrons were friendly and helped sign happy birthday to my coworker. The Nashville based Olin humored our birthday request with an amazing Nashville styled rendition of happy birthday. Even the bartender sang a song and can she sing. Amazing talent what a lucky night to visit. If you haven't sat out on the wrap around deck patio with nice wrought iron tables and chairs you need to give it a sit so peaceful and a cool breeze. I have owned to pubs and I can say I highly recommend this place. The vibe is laid back not judgemental and the bartender was super. She knew creative drinks/shots and the bottom fill beer taps made me jealous as all get out. Only suggestion was they need a better sound system (speakers). We had Rockville speakers under the cost of an elegant dinner you have a whomping system. When in Frankfort KY don't miss a chance to visit Rose's and meet Taylor!”

“Our office worked 2 separate large legislative events (breakfast and lunch) and I just want to give Anna, Vincent, and the rest of the staff their flowers for their amazing work. These were not easy tasks for them, including having to order more food at a moments notice due to higher than expected turnout. Even while dealing with a lunch rush they were able to turn around extra orders a few times with quick turnarounds. We can’t thank you them enough for all their help with these.
