“Always so interesting to see how things are made. Took the Trace tour which was mostly outdoors. Tour guide was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. The grounds are well maintained and pretty. Sadly unable to buy any of the bourbon I was hoping to find. It's just too competitive.“
“We stopped here for lunch recently and had a good experience. The mini burgers, Kentucky hot brown, and chocolate shake were all great. The service was excellent. The seating inside is limited to 5-6 tables and seats at the bar. They do have a nice patio area. I would recommend the patio area for ventilation. They were cutting onions while we were there and unfortunately, our eyes were watering by the time we left. They have parking on both sides of the restaurant, but can be tricky backing out onto the busy main road.“
“Had a very nice lunch with my daughter-in-law today. I had their homemade chicken salad sandwich which was very good and it was served on a toasted croissant and I opted for the hand breaded honemade onion rings which were very good as well. She had a burger that was served between two grilled cheese sandwiches and she said it was very good as well. The service was great and the atmosphere was great and I love the vibe of the 60's diner and the music. If you are ever finding yourself going through Frankfort, KY stop and give Main Street Diner a try, you'll thank me later for it.“
“Beautiful little shop with wine, bourbon, and beer. You can shop for take home bottles. You can have drinks at the little bar. They have very nice people working that are happy to discuss any topic from the local businesses to the best bourbon deals. Love this place!“
“We had wanted to visit after reading an article about the Deep history Of this location And Brewery. Each visit is better than the last ! Totally unique venue with superb attention to detail in everything they do. It is a triple A+ rating in service, beer, and food.We find ourselves wanting to stay because each time , we feel a little more welcome than the last. It’s very clean with excellent products and staff that is genuine and authentic in all they do.Thank you favorite Brewery ???AAA+Sig Luscher’s has a great Kentucky Bourbon ? selection also !“
“The hostess, waitress, bartender and kitchen staff all interacted with our table at some point and thet were lovely. They had a great selection of Bourbon. If you don't see it on the menu, ask. They had the rare Bourbon my husband wanted. My husband ordered the fish and chips and it was great. I had a chicken sandwich and it was good (but averge). The deviled eggs were great. My kids had the chicken tenders and they seemed happy. The restaurant was clean and our drinks stayed full.“
“Vegetarian options: Not singled out really..If you are diabetic you will have to pick and choose wisely..many restaurants do not cater the the diabetic community.Overall, it’s a very nice place to eat has a small hometown atmosphere, and the people are friendly!“
“A good place to eat. Great burgers and chili dogs. I like liver and onions. It's's the only place left that serves it. Nice bar and plenty of cold beer. You can take your family for an evening meal. A true pub in the Capital City.Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian but they do offer it.“
“First time visit. Wanted to try someplace new. Very close to Buffalo Trace distillery coffee was good. Was not crowded. My favorite item was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were very fluffy and flavorful. The one item I was disappointed in was the hash browns. Would much prefer to have had home fries versus frozen potatoes“
“This is an amazing nursery with so many beautiful plant varieties. The shop is beautifully curated and the greenhouse feels like walking into a jungle wonderland. They have aome of the biggest tropical houseplants I have ever seen, and even have some amazing rare finds. We couldn't help picking up a few things, even though we're out of town and have a 5 hour car ride home.“
“Love it!! Perfect place to be all summer long!!! Love being on the water. Karaoke on Thursdays ??️ family and well-behaved pet friendly. One guy even used to bring his?? also get the bar atmosphere later in the evening.Parking: Gravel parking lot. Ramp to get down to restaurant. This is to be expected....It is a boat dock and Marina. And therefore has to rise and fall with the tides. There is a paved parking lot associated with the boat ramp that's within easy walking distance.Kid-friendliness: It's not just kids. They're friendly with everyone!! As are there patrons! Wonderful! Down home, friendly Southern hospitality all the way.Wheelchair accessibility: Again as with parking. It is a gravel lot and there is a ramp. It is with her accessible but it is somewhat steep depending on the water level at the time. Again, it is a marina.“
“The service here is generally good, this last time our waiter was in an extreme rush during our whole meal. He never introduced himself, he never asked if we needed anything. He did keep an eye on our drinks and kept up with them for the most part.“
“Stopped in tonight to pick up a curbside order. The parking lot was packed and they were clearly swamped. Still it only took a few minutes for them to bring my order out. Everything was cooked perfectly and their raspberry tea is hands down the best I've ever had; I'm hoping I can order it buy the gallon! The server who brought out the order was pleasant and didn't act rushed even though she was clearly busy with a line of orders to bring out. 10/10 recommend!!“
“Great little dive bar and the burgers were amazing. Friendly staff, sets right on the river. Looks a little sketchy when you first roll up, but glad I went on in. Perfect little hidden gem. Great atmosphere, great drink selections and awesome food. I highly recommend the burgers!!“
“Haven't been here since Covid. My wife went with regular fish sandwich and fries. While I tried the deluxe seafood platter and it's loaded with two pieces of fish, shrimp, crap, coleslaw, and fries. Way to much to eat. This is a Military friendly location.“
“I gave 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the restaurant needs a deep cleaning / dusting. Not overly dirty.Vegetarian options: 4+ vegetarian options. Don't remember which one I ordered (it's been about a month ago). I asked the waitress if it was spicy & explained that I have a VERY low spice tolerance. She said it wasn't spicy & she was correct.Kid-friendliness: They had 4+ options on the kids menu.“
“Their grilled fish options are great! I like the lemon pepper salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. The quality is comparable to some dine in restaurants I've been to and the price is significantly cheaper. They've definitely upped their game.“
“As I’m switching jobs, my coworker took me for lunch to Limewater as a farewell present, and as usual, she picked a great place! Located next to the river, offers a patio that invites to stay in a beautiful spring or summer day. Inside, decoration and style are relaxing, yet classy and simple, with a small lunch menu that doesn’t make it too difficult to make a choice. I noticed in the drinks menu that they make their own beer (this is NOT a brewery, but they have a couple homemade beers) which I’ll be happy to try next time I go there. The place is ideal for a date, a special celebration, or just to treat yourself or someone you love.My friend ordered the fried chicken with gravy that contained a subtle hint of sage; chicken was fried to perfection, crispy in the outside AND juicy in the inside, over a bed of creamy and flavorful mashed potatoes. I had the Lo Mein Stir Fry with chicken, and could not stop talking about how tasty it was!! It seems to me that it had some ginger that enhanced the flavor of this minimalist dish.I will return for sure, and I strongly suggest you to visit Limewater whenever you have the chance!Vegetarian options: Some dishes offered the option to add meat. If you don’t make a choice, then your meal won’t have any.“
