“Came here for a birthday dinner and we enjoyed our time here. To be honest, the price for the food is a little high for the quality you get but you’re paying for the atmosphere and experience. We had a party of four and got the loaf of bread appetizer ($15, come on) the fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and crab ravioli entrees. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits, that was the favorite of the group, and the friend chicken was delicious as well. We were disappointed with the crab ravioli to be honest, would definitely get the other two entrees before this one. But overall it’s a cool, unique experience that you can’t really get in Kentucky anywhere else“

“I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff here. My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.“

“Sam and Kendra were great. I loved their welcoming and bubbly energy. They made my family and I feel welcome. We came from doing the rail explores, so we were hot! Being from out of town we are used to breweries having water refill stations for reusable water bottles, the owner shot my sister a dirty look when she was filling her bottle at what she thought was a refill station instead of just letting her know it wasn’t. I loved the potato skins. Sam and Kendra gave us great recommendations for our next stop on our trip! This was the right place for us to grab a beer as we cooled off and got ready for the next leg of our roadtrip.“

“We enjoyed a fantastic New Year's Eve meal at Heirloom in Midway, KY. The service was superb, atmosphere warm, and the food exceptional, on par with meals we have had in Paris and Rome. The four course meal was perfection. The lobster cappelletti was devine and the Chateaubriand Au Poivre was cooked perfectly and was tender and flavorful. The Dubai Sundae was the prefect ending to such a wonderful meal ! We commend the chef and staff for such a wonderful experience . We will definitely eat here again and highly recommend.“

“I had never been to this place before but we went for Thanksgiving today and it was FANTASTIC! We had a reservation for the 12:30 seating, and were seated and in line for the buffet by 12:45. The front staff seemed pretty stressed but they did a great job. I’m looking forward to going back to try their regular menu.“

My wife enjoyed her taco salad. This restaurant is the first place we eat when we move to Frankfort Kentucky. This was our second visit. Food was great just like the first time. We enjoy and love how close things are from our home.

“I ordered my Thanksgiving lunch this past Sunday. It was delicious. Recommend anybody doing that we are still eating on it. My second year !!!!!!“

“We stopped by while in the area today. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing. The service was great. The food was the home cooked meal I've been needing. The lady that rang us up was super sweet and treated us like family, even though we were there past closing time, she striked up a nice conversationwith us. Will definitely be back if we are in the area again.“

“This may be the very best Capatin D's in America. I've been to different parts of the country and always loved Captain D's but sometimes the food isn't great or the workers don't seem to care about the food they serve. Not her.
Everyone was very nice and courteous. The service was very fast even though the restaurant was very busy at lunch on Friday.
The fish was cooked perfectly and not greasy or with old oil.
