“My wife took us here for dinner…she wanted to go for the experience and to visit the castle we have driven by for years! Worth every penny as she and my son loved the experience! The grandeur of the inside of the castle and grounds was exquisite! Dinner was very good as well!! I had the pork chop on the full bone with sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and a sausage stuffing. Very well prepared and excellent flavor. My wife had the fried chicken which was fired golden brown but still very tender and juicy on the inside with green beans and cabbage. Our son had grilled chicken and fries from the kids menu and he ate every bite so it must have been well prepared as well.
There was a wedding party going on outside and in areas of the castle but that didn’t affect the overall coolness of our visit. Beautiful place to visit and have lunch or dinner and the service was top notch!

“I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff here. My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.“

“Nice 18 hole golf course, quick greens,water on 2 holes. It’s an old school links style 72 par golf course. Not too crowded and it took right at 4 hours to play. You have to be a member or play with one on the weekend but through the week you can play on a recommendation from a member.“

Definitely could not got if there was any inclement weather as the inside is not Ada accessible, our son in a wheelchair could not get inside. ADA is not grandfathered in, so this issue should be fixed so this establishment is accessible to all patrons

“In this day and age, it is rare to find a fast food restaurant that provides great service and great food at a great price much less do so on a consistent basis. My wife and I recently began dining at the Frankfort Captain D's Versailles Road location and I can not adequately describe just how fantastic our dining experiences have been here. When we find a restaurant that excels in all areas like Staxx (Frankfort), Raising Canes (Nicholasville) and every Chic-fil-a location, we can't wait to sing its praises and look forward to returning. This Captain D's is just that great. The food is always cooked hot and fresh to order, served at your table on actual plates in a spotless restaurant that plays great music. I really can not say enough good things. We drive past another Captain D's that is ten minutes closer to get to this location and will continue to do so. It really feels live a 5-star experience and should probably win the award for best Captain D's in America!“

This last one, our Holiday Meal last night (for Thanksgiving and Christmas), was also delicious! Her stuffing/dressing is awesome. So, if you are thinking of ordering from them, you won't be disappointed. The BEST thing - the 7 layer salad! I had it for "dessert" last night, even though they have great desserts as well.“
