“Bravo!!! The romance of a truly great Composed Cobb Salad. Forgive me if my frivolous state of exuberance overtakes the point of this post! But I am giddy! It’s absolutely true that a fantastic Cobb Salad is legitimate cause for celebration. And tonight I’m setting off fireworks! The wonderful Cobb Salad at Amsden Station rocked my palate! The freshly roasted, perfectly cooked chicken. The light, yet flavorful dressing. Each and every organic veggie component chilled and chopped perfectly. The absolutely perfect blue cheese. The just so amount of salty and creamy. So yeah, it’s a one block away walk to something fresh, clean, exquisitely composed; completely yummy! Perfection in a bowl. Wahoo! Just go see for yourself!”

“The food was excellent! We had a Reuben with their marble rye bread, curly fries, and 2 sliders - 1 ham, and 1 chicken. All was hot and delicious. The staff was friendly, they ask for and call you by name. They have at least 4 sauces for your pleasure in the dining room. The dining room was super clean as well. I'll be back for sure!

“I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff here. My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.”

“Locals is a cozy little bar in the cozy town of versailles . It feels like you belong as soon as you walk in. People are welcoming anf friendly. An the bartenders pay attention to what you need an are personable and warm . They have several acts that perform on different nights an karaoke any night of the week. Plenty of parking for a smaller place. But is so much bigger inside an out than you would think.Come check them out !”

“I have eaten here a few times since it opened. Just wish they had more seating. I know it’s in a gas station but need more seating. The cheese burgers are delicious. I like the fries but the tater tots are better. Chili dog is pretty good too. I had one of the orange cream frost and I won’t have that again. All the employees have been friendly and courteous.”

“Kristen created an absolutely stunning cake for our recent wedding. They were great to work with too. It looked almost too good to cut, but we knew it would be worth it because we had tasted cupcakes from Kristen to decide which flavor to pick (it was a difficult choice, but I highly recommend the white chocolate and raspberry!). Highly recommend!”

“My wife and I were visiting Versailles for her birthday and wanted to find a great local coffee shop experience, and The Amsden was exactly what we were looking for. Located right in the heart of downtown Versailles inside a beautifully restored historic building, it truly feels like one of the local hotspots where the community gathers each morning.

The coffee was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the outdoor patio right on Main Street was the perfect place to sit, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee together. It has that authentic small-town Kentucky charm that’s hard to find anymore.

If you’re visiting the Versailles area, exploring Kentucky bourbon country, or just looking for a great local coffee shop with character, great drinks, and a relaxing atmosphere, I would highly recommend The Amsden. Definitely one of the coolest coffee spots in Central Kentucky. Highly recommend!”

“I love my cheerful baker monthly boxes! I've recently bought a 3D printer and she has an option for the digital club so I changed to that one. With the digital club you have access to multiple years of monthly boxes and just like the physical boxes you still get all her tutorials. Lauren does an amazing job on her tutorials and makes it easier to decorate each cookie!”

“So we booked the party room for a member celebration for our school~ probably about 40 of us. The food and service was great. Our server Tanner knocked it out of the park~talk about hustle. Laid back, fun atmosphere! Will definitely bring the crew out again!”

“I usually make it a rule not to visit the same place twice when I’m in a new city, but Versailles Brewing Company is a clear exception. The beer is top notch, and the food absolutely delivers—the tacos and burgers were especially amazing. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Easily a 5-star spot, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone in the area.”

“On vacation with our Aussie- was thrilled to find a truly dog friendly venue with GF options. Food and atmosphere (lunch) was great - but we ordered their GF pizza to go to have later for dinner and OMG!!! I have been GF for 30 years and have been searching for good GF pies all over the US as we travel- and this was by far the very best I’ve ever had. Just incredible. Sad that we only have 1 more day to enjoy Lexington- I might order another to bring home!”

“Very nice! My date and I went for Lunch. I have to say, it’s very nice that lunch is affordable there, and it makes us more likely to try their fancy dinner menu.

We got the pimento cheese and crackers. The crackers were huge and sort of hilariously stuck into the ball of pimento cheese. I liked it haha. The crackers were delicious, as was the cheese. I got the Korean fried chicken sandwhich and my date got the chicken and waffles. The Korean fried chicken was very good, maybe missing a little on the sauce, but very good. The fries were also fantastic. The chicken and waffles were also very good. The chicken batter flaked off a ton but I wasn’t too offended by that. It came with butter and maple syrup, we also thought it could have used a sauce, but that’s a personal preference and the waitress was happy to bring us hot sauce. We also got a nice card for our anniversary and free nice-sized brownie Sundae! The brownies were amazing. That was very nice. We will definitely want to come back!”

“The Starbucks within this Kroger isn’t bad, it always gets our orders correct and also has friendly staff, outstanding customer service. For a corporate location, this particular establishment appears to be up-kept and well maintained, contrary to popular perception.”

The smoked chicken wings are absolutely delicious with an incredible rub and sauce options to complement! They are a MUST 😍🤩. The burgers are outstanding! The signature burger has pulled pork and homemade onion straw with a delicious barbecue sauce! The BEST BURGER ever … blows everything else out of the water 🤯😎. “They actually listen when you say “no ice” And they don’t put ice in your drink. “More ketchup” and they give you more ketchup. Such basic valid requests are not always met with satisfaction in other fast food places.”
