“I'm really particular about eating authentic Mexican food and Lichos is my go to for deliciously prepared Mexico meals. The servings are very generous and the meats are flavorful and each has a wonderful flavor profile. I have not tried anything on the menu that I did not enjoy. My only criticism is that they don't have green Chile rellenos”

“Big jacks is the best coffee spot in town. My family and moved to Lawrenceburg and we found this gem close to our house. My wife loves the seasonal options of cold brew coffees and my daughter and I take breakfast dates here frequently. The best part of Big Jacks hands down is the friendly and hard working staff.”

“This is my experience, but I am willing to give it a second chance based on what other people at my table ordered. Ordered the special dinner...do not recommend. It came with a tamale, a crunchy taco, a Chile relleno, an enchilada, and a tostada with stuff on top. My biggest issue is that EVERYTHING on my plate had ground beef with some red sauce...it was bland and boring. The most exciting thing was the tamale it had chicken or pork...can't remember, but it was good, however it also had ground beef and red sauce on top...don't know why...I scooped this off. The chilled relleno didn't even have real cheese... This made me sad, the cheese inside was like cheese dip like the cheep kind and the egg wrap around it was doughie and cold. Rice and beans were yummy, my michelada was properly made was very impressed, the chips and salsa were fresh, if you can handle spice I would recommend their habanero sauce. The service was top notch, and the place is clean. Everyone at my table got something yummy so I think it was just my dish. I would try it again but definitely order something different.”

“My family and I love this place! The food is always awesome, everyone on staff is very friendly and they remember their customers and their food preferences, which makes for an awesome overall meal and atmosphere. Type of place that can efficiently and easily handle a large group or provide an exceptional solo experience.La Isla is very much a community gathering place, which is also cool. We’ve been coming here since my kids were babies and we are gonna keep coming back! Eddie and the crew do a great job!

“We randomly stopped in here Friday morning while waiting for some of the local shops to open and I’m so glad we did! I got the Winnie Bear Iced Cold Brew coffee with the sweet cold foam and it’s probably the best cold brew iced coffee I’ve ever had. Delicious! We chatted with the owner who was also super sweet. They had Christian music playing and some bibles available to read. Wonderful place, atmosphere and coffee! Highly recommend the cold brew!”

“I have been eating here for decades, I am not certain how long the current owners have been operating this eatery.One thing is certain, the chili dogs are the best ever, homemade sauce and onions are what I like. French Fries are made to order, never soggy like fast food places. The burgers are hand shaped and are cooked when ordered.There are many other items on the menu, I am plugging what I like to eat. I have tried other items on the menu and have never been disappointed, ever…I think this place deserves a Big shout out actually, that’s why I am taking time out of my day before I roll out and get some food for the family.For small town eats, this iconic part of Lawrenceburg is the best around.”

“I had the dark chocolate coffee cake today and it was lovely. I was only going to take a taste and save the rest for later but I couldn't stop myself. It was so decadent and had a wonderful balance of bitter (with the coffee and dark chocolate) and sweet. It was perfect and so decadent!”
